Im in no way suggesting Obamacare is an end all fix all situation but it is a start.
What is known is that preventative care helps people live healthier lives.
I want to touch on a couple points in this thread.
Costs: It is well known that doctors and nurses are not paid as much in Canada as they are in the US, this
led to a severe brain drain in our medical system as people would train here and move to the US to work.
It has also been proven that the private clinics have driven up costs across the entire system.
Now, I want to provide a story from reuters ( I trust reuters to be credible enough) which shows that Canadians
live longer than Americans, surely this is not due to some third world care that seems to be suggested through out
this thread.
