Why do you hate women, Marie? Why do you just use them as pawns to get your buddies elected? Why do you refuse to allow women to buy birth control pills over the counter, just as the American College of Obstetrics recommends and the rest of the world already allows? Do you think women are just too stupid to know when they need to see a doctor? Do you think women are just too stupid to read simple directions about the risks of birth control pills? Do all Democrats think these things, or are Democrats just venal and evil and using women as simple pawns in the culture war? Do you not care that your chauvinistic attitudes are causing women untold grief and physical hardship?

Why, Marie, why?

Oh, for God's sake, won't somebody think of the women?
Again
The same people that dont want birth control paid for with health insurance don't want birth control sold over the counter

That's my point
You are a mooch
Never been on any kind of assistance in my life, I collected unemployment for three weeks right after college and not a single penny since.
I've worked and saved enough through the years to take care of my wife and I for a long time. If I did fall down on my luck, the last thing I'd do is whine about it on a message board and rely on the government.

BTW, I'll bet I pay more in annual income taxes than you make in a year, mooch on that.

The same people who dont want insurance to cover birth control pills also dont want it sold over the counter
According to...? I think it's absolutely ridiculous for a company to be required to provide BC coverage, and I think BC should be over the counter like it is everywhere else. Others in this thread have said the same, so what makes you think this?

Well, cheesy, the Dems control the senate and presidency. Are Dems too pro-life to propose a change to BC pills availability? The FDA could do it unilaterally, I think.

You and I know the real reason making BC pills OTC is because our politicians, particularly the Dem ones, have a wedge issue they don't want to give up. If that causes a few thousand unwanted pregnancies, or a few women to die, that's just too bad. As Harry Reid said, "why would we want to save the life of a baby?".

1 morality issue the Right will fight for
2 pocket book issue as my Gyn/Ob doctors know they can get a woman in once a year for a probably unneeded pap smear just so the woman can reup her BC prescription

And why would you call it a DEM wedge issue when the Republicans exploit it as well?

Because the Dem argument is stronger because it appeals to more people.

Dem is like, those people don't care about women

Rep are like the bible, temperence, quit being skanks.
