When have you ever been covered by insurance when outside the United States? Obamacare or otherwise? I know I haven't been covered when I go to Brazil, Aruba, Spain, France, Bahamas, Jamaica and Canada when I visit those places. I paid out of pocket twice. Once in Bahamas when I busted my ear drum while scuba diving, and the other time in Florianopolis, Brazil when I cut my leg while dune surfing.
The Blues of MI had a rider for foreign travel. You had to call and let them know you were leaving the country. You had to tell them where you were going and for how long. It covered all medical bills that the Blues would cover in MI and a medic flight home.

Did you bother to call them and inquire?

You are on an empoyer's plan, right? Those plans won't be much affected by ACA. It is the people who buy their own insurance who are getting screwed.

Also, maybe I should remind you that Obama said the average family would see a $2,500 reduction in costs. Where is your $2,500 reduction? Where is mine? My plan went up 7%.

Individuals buying health insurance on their own will see their premiums tumble next year in New York State as changes under the federal health care law take effect, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced on Wednesday.

Yeah, you're right. The Republicans need to repudiate their culture war shit, i.e. become more libertarian.
and garner a whopping 7% of the vote!

WOOOHHOOOOOO!!!!!

oh, and i think you mean "libertarian", not libertarian, since you are really just a right winger in a white robe who abuses a label.

I thought in double=think he meant I would only pay $2500 extra. So far so good.

Oh how funny, a progressive using the word Nazi cause she's whining about her freedom being infringed.

No one was forcing Winter Woman to buy health insurance dear, that was her choice.
And you have the audacity to criticize people like me because I don't want the government to force it down my throat, really?

Squat dildo? I know that's probably a figure of speech, but I can't help but wondering if I saw that movie in the 1970s, nah never mind.

While I was with IBM I contacted the provider, it was a no-go. When I was with Thomson Reuters it was also a no-go. My BCBS of NY does cover some things, but not much, and there is a deductible of $500. The bill in Brazil when I cut my leg was less than $700 reais, which is, at the time was less than $300US. Ugh! socialist healthcare for ya!
