Republicans are scared to death that Obamacare will be successful and since they painted themselves in a corner condemning the Idea (a republican one) for the last 5 years they cannot do anything but hope for it's demise And yes the Republicans have activlyh tried to sabotage it at every step.
Yeah, it's been a huge success so far. 106,000 "enrollees" and 5,000,000, and another 60,000,000 next year, policies canceled. Huge, huge success!

answer: that would be between you and your bankruptcy attorney..typical Chapter 7 you MUST liquidate EVERYTHING..home, vehicles, furniture..if you make 30k/year..it wouldn't take much: Who is earning the most: Young people continued to struggle last year, with those under the age of 35 seeing slight drops in income while those 35 and made some gains. Women made 77% of what men made, unchanged from the year before but up from 61% in 1960. Over one million men found full time work last year, as the economy recovered. Some have dubbed the most recent recession the "mancession," as large numbers of men have left the workforce. Asians had the highest household income ($68,600), followed by whites ($57,000), Hispanics ($39,000) and blacks ($33,300). Related: 48 million Americans without health insurance How the poorest are faring: The recession also pushed many more people into poverty. In 2010, the poverty rate peaked at 15.1%, and has barely fallen since then. This is the first time the poverty rate has remained at or above 15% three years running since 1965. Those making $23,492 a year for a family of four, or $11,720 for an individualwere considered to be living in poverty. While the ranks of the poor are still elevated from the recession, overall poverty is remains far below the 22.4% it was at in 1959 when the Census first began tracking the data. Over the last 25 years, the poverty rate has averaged just over 13%. http://money.cnn.com/2013/09/17/news/economy/poverty-income/
You don't have to liquidate your home, vehicles, furniture in Florida and other states, too.

meh..

Massachusetts' law's first year: Just 123 people signed up during the Bay State's first month of open enrollment. By contrast, 20 percent of the first year's 36,000 enrollees purchased coverage in the last month before an individual mandate penalty kicked in.

When he don' move, the silly donkey. You missed the point again. You moved into a non-reality, where the stick is not needed.

Who are you now? Ray Bradbury? A Trekie? :)

A carrot is never enough in most cases. We are more like donkeys than rabbits, I say.

If you are comparing hitting "a beast of burden" to make it perform the way you want it to with the proper way to incentivize humans, you might be talking out your ass.

A stick is not needed, or "justified", when the person you are applying the stick to is behaving peacefully and their ONLY indiscretion is not obeying the whim of another that claims authority over them. If you think a stick is needed to run others lives, then YOU become the initial aggressor don't you?

You miss the part about the stick only being needed as a DEFENSIVE tool, not as a prod to be used to enforce whims of the "we" .

No, and don't be a bad person, ok, we are past that. I don't allow my ass to talk. Self discipline.

I am a deep student of Sociology and Anthropology. And I have a life time of managing tech workers.

I have recurring training on the mammal aspect of human behavior.. I have hired, promoted and developed, and sometimes, fired, over 100 people....yeah. Life experience in motivating all kinds of mammals, included dogs, horses, a donkey and a goat, wives, etc.

The stick is always needed and never desirable, which you can see, if eyes were open. You can't show any example where it is not needed for humans....so you say should.

Do you have a single real life, card to play here?

Dream on.

The stick is only needed as a defensive tool. Are you suggesting otherwise?

Of course I'm saying should, when we DO things that we should, there is peace, when we do things that we shouldn't there isn't peace. Those examples are self evident even to the most myopic.

Oh sorry, I'm not playing the how important are you in the real world game today, perhaps another time though? Besides, I have a confession to make, I really don't think you could beat me at arm wrestling.

I am not in a defense mode with the mammals in my charge. They love me.

Defense? What? A carrot and a stick. And you think the stick is to keep the mammal from attacking you? I have no importance at all.

Where does that leave you? Inexperienced.
