Great work Hyroot. Much respect.
the cat is a boy. It kicked the shit out of my neighbors australian terrier the other day. I actually inherited the cat a couple years ago from an old neighbor. He is like 5 or 6 years old.. he does not need a litter box. he is potty trained and an outdoor / indoor cat. Otherwise I would not have taken him in. My x girlfriend made me keep him.. She bought all the catfood. Now I buy the catfood... for some reason he gets along with labs and huskies and thats it.Yeah not bad at all grower....................cute cat, is that one of your "hot" girlfriends???.........lol
I have always run perpetual so I could never try this. Perhaps I will build a 'ripening cabinet' and move 'em in there to check this out.i do the dark period for a day or 2. It causes calyx swell up more and buds become more resinous.. I let the soil dry for the fade. Makes for smoother smoke, more pungent taste and smell
I get those bastards trying to farm on my outdoor all the time. I have caught a few scouts in my flowering room lately too. Now I have some local jumping spiders at work for me Ants... Come on in... My spiders are hungryYikes. Keep a close eye out for aphids. Ants are farmers, too...

I just did that this morning outside. For some reason they are were all over one spot on top of the soil of a lavender plant. The peppermint wasn't working outside.I had a few ants crawling around my veg space the other day. I just dusted a little diatomaceous earth around the crack they were coming through. Haven't seen one since..
Weigh out 2 oz. of Barley seed and remove any foreign matter by the seeds into a large jar and fill it half-way with water and agitate to wash the barley. Pour off loose husks & dirt that float to the top. Drain in a colander. Repeat until everything has been removed.
Soak the seeds in water for 8 - 10 hours. Drain the seeds and weigh after completely draining the water off. Assuming you started with 56 grams, you want to hit a minimum of 84 grams at the end of these processes.
Let the Barley rest for 8 - 10 hours and then soak for another 8 hours, drain and weigh. Repeat if necessary but that's not too unlikely.
Take a piece of cloth and you want to use something as 'raw' as possible like hemp cloth, organic cotton, linen, canvas, flax, etc. - just check with a large fabric store. If you buy a piece that is a square it probably helps or doesn't.
Wet your cloth, wring out and fold it 2 times. During the rest cycles this is where you want to let the seeds rest. You want moisture surrounding the seeds but not water.
Once you hit 84+ grams, spread your seeds again in the middle of this folded piece of fabric, place that in a brown paper bag - 55F - 65F ambient temperatures will move this along quickly.
When the shoots inside the seed have grown the length of the seed you're done. You're not growing sprouts but rather activating the enzymes and the compounds in the endosperm as described in the post above.
Take these seeds and put them in a blender and some water and get it to a puree to the extent possible. Using 56 grams to start will give enough puree to make 5 gallons of tea.
Water your plants with this diluted tea. This will give you far, far more enzymes than the straight sprouting method.
I only bubbled for an hour. Just trial and error. Since I bubble water while soaking seeds. Kind of follwing what beer brewers do. I haven't found anything that says enzymes increase or decrease by bubbling. Just watching how plants react. This last watering I saw more praying (lower leaves too) with bubbling. Next time I wiil do without bubblingSup Hyroot?
I'm curious why you're bubbling the seed sprout tea. Have you tried applying it right after blending and diluting? Seems to me like the enzmymes produced when the seed germinates would be at their highest concentrations right after blending. I am by no means an expert on seed sprout teas, but that's just where my brain went....
Cheers
Hyroot,Yeah. Dormant means just sleeping not dead. If it dries, when the VC gets wet. The microbes wake up and get to action.
