Kite High Memorial Cinderella 99 Grow

You can buy it as a bulk chemical but I'm not sure where a private citizen would get it. One tablet makes enough to treat a lot of water though.
edit: it appear Trader Joe's sells straight vitamin C crystals for $10/lb. Considering a 500mg tablet treats a lot of water that's a lifetime supply.

hey puffdat, wondering if you have some way of fresh air getting air in there at night?

asking this because i had those same symptoms around the same time

the plant must be trying to flower more than normal, and puts more of it's energy that it would have put into regulating temperature, and puts that into budding, then wham you see random canoeing and tip burns from the heat stress

since that grow i left the exhaust on 24/7 and I don't have any tip burn so far (21 days in). The plant REALLY needs the fresh air at night, its SOOOO important. also maybe try checking night time temperatures. You want them to drop 10-15deg F

hey dudes thanks for all the advice.

mo, the flush didn't work! Shes even worse today.. really am stumped at this point.. The color of the run off suggested i was on to something..

hey nizza thanks for the input. There is no fresh air getting to the plant except for when i open the closet a few times a day. Bad gardener lol. You and duck could be right about that. That's one of the reasons i tend to grow 1 plant a time ,at least the plant has a certain amount of air to itself in there. I grew a lemon skunk in there for one of my first grows and left it untopped. Did'nt get this issue. I've topped plants nearly every time since and always get it. Maybe the increased foliage is using up the air in there far too much since there is no ventilation except a fan moving the air around.

It's cold here where i live so the night temps are pretty damn low.. probably too low

Can you set a fan up to blow fresh air into the closet?
I was doing that during the summer to keep my closet temps under control.

Ah damn Puff, was really hoping it would work for you!
Agree with the other guys about getting air in there, one thing ive always ensured was that there is air flow, i go way overboard but i know it helps. I usually have an intake, an exhaust, an inline and 3 or 4 fans inside the tent when i grow, its almost like a hurricane in there

You'd be amazed what you can do with sufficient airflow! I was running a 400W in a 2x2x4 box with a cooltube and a 400cfm fan in a closet. I left the closet door open and had a fan on the shelf blowing hot air out. One wall was essentially all fans. I had two clip on fans and a big box fan in the summer.

yeah my setup is as ghetto as it comes... i totally neglect air intake . I have to really, the nature of this closet grow is that it is an attempt to hide it as much as possible.. carbon filters and those loud intake fans would make my neighbours suspicious.. i live in a terraced house.. to be honest it seems every time i create the bush effect by topping i get this issue.. maybe the more streamlined christmas tree shape is better for my situation

Anything is better than nothing bro :D

I reckon you'd probably lose yield before it becomes nute sensitive if it had something to do with the topping. I'll be topping the crap out of the one I grow, we'll see how she goes :)

can't even do that , as leaving the closet open would mess up my light schedule...

oh well guys i have a fair few grows finished in there.. i'm losing out on yeild probably..but don't forget i'm only using 250 watts.

i'm definitely not losing out on decent smoke though..

heres a little day 37 nug.. she is starting to frost and fatten up.. seemingly from the bottom upwards.. thats how my lemon skunk finished up too.. some of the popcorn has about 60% red hairs already!

Hey puff Just finished trimmin my C99, better than I expected. Super dense tight nugs. Just need to dry and cure.. i think i'll get 3oz easy from a short veg of 32 days. But it is the quality smoke we all enjoy.

These were also on the main cola, I decided to take them off so I have less risk of mold.

I Did a short Veg this time only 32 days. No topping but I did super crop twice, first time it stood straight back up the next day.. Second time, a week or two later I made sure I heard some snapping in the thick stem.. took some time before it stood straight up again and it helped with the stretch tremendously.

I had a lot of leaf death this go around too, I am putting the blame on myself since I did dirt this time and probably did things I shouldn't have. I got three cindy clones , an OG Kush and a Critical + I'm growing out in my little 3x3 tent now. I think once these are done i'm going to stick with a single plant Hempy style.

Here are my 10 C99s ending week 5. They are completely done with stretch now and are just beginning to bulk up. I have 2 distinct phenotypes, (1) tall and slender, and (2) short and squat with a couple in the middle. Interestingly the flowers seem to have a bit of a pink tinge to them. Over all it's a very nice looking plant. During stretch they really smelled strongly of rotting flesh mixed with over ripe fruit, not as much now.

I pollinated them with Bodhi's Sunshine Daydream male. So I should have seeds ;) oh and I took a few clones.

Cool adam, you will do better with hydro if thats your skill man.. i'm wondering if pot size could maybe be my problem .

very nice curious, they look nice and healthy

Here is some buds from day 46 , half of the plant looks like this, the top colas still have to ripen a bit and shes done, looks like it will be done for next week.

The smell of over ripe pineapple is just ridiculous.

She looks very good. Moisture stress can result in pretty crazy leaf drop. If you're using smaller pots bottom feeding can help avoid it because the plants can be kept moist mroe easily.

Your plant looks great. In my opinion your limitation is that 250 Watt you're running. My plants are in 2 gallon pots of Sunshine Mix Advanced #4. I water twice a day in the later part of flower. Based on the state of pistil retraction it looks like you have longer than a week but I usually start checking trichomes somewhere around where you are at.

I want to dedicate my first grow to Kite High too.He was the one who inspired to grow. And of course im growing Cindy99.Today is her day 19 of flower
