    Help I'm stuck!!

I prefer pro mix bx. and honestly as long as your consistent with your feeding the harshest learning curve is when to start feeding but after one (two max) starts in it and youll see when you shoyld start fpr your strain.

question re: wire gauge for fans...

I mean I probably wouldnt do it. especially considering these wires will have a continous load. in my opinion play it safe and get some 18.

    Your favorite indica to grow.

I dont know where your located but if you can get a cut of m.o.b. shes real nice. I got a cut of a strain called l.a. confidential from a dispensary once, supposedly 100% indica. and I know someone who grows aurora indica pretty frequently and I love the way that strain grows.

    2 Weeks - Clones not rooting :-/

I feel like it could be a few things, generally when I take cuttings from flowering plants they tend to rake longer. also I notice some strains root much better with a heating pad wrapped in a towel underneath the tray (just what I do, if its in a place that gets wet id suggest finding another...

    Quick Ventilation setup ques

humidifiers are cheap. and as far the filter situation. go filter-light-fan so your sucking air through everything then blowing it out of the area. if 80 degrees and 50% seems to work well keep it their. if not id say its probably ok to drop a bit a humidity for lower temps or vice versa. play...

    second Grow

ive always considered what's in that pic to be foxtailing and I tend to view it as a negative. do all your strains do that eventually? because ive left most of my strains go way past recommended time and I dont get that unless they get too hot generally.

    second Grow

you have some time to go. I can tell by zooming in that those are pretty much all clear still. I never use a scope, when the trichs are clear still, the buds have a sparkly look tothem in my exexperience, when they get mostly cloudy the plant looks more frosty or snowy and when they go way to...

    Grabbing for straws

a lot of the time you hear more negative things than positive about this subject in media up here in our beloved state but the positves are out there and people know about them too, thats why 61% of polled people up here say they want it legalized! they know what's up.

    so this is it.

you spent the cash to cover a 5x6 in tinfoil?? I bet with the money you spent you could have gotten white poly or something similiar. lights, id say go with a lot of 42watt (actual wattage) cfls, they will do well and are more efficient than the big ones. as for that lizard bedding thats going...

    Should i harvest this?

how hot is it in your room? how close are the lights, amd how much air circulation is going o? ive personally found that not enough. air flow with high temps can greatlyeexacerbate nutrient issues, that along with letting them get too dry.

Things you wished you'd known before first grow

what I meant by it was that I was pulling roughly 400 cfm through two ac hoods with 400s in them in a space that was 20 inches by 5 ish feet with my lights at max.height tops were around .5-1.5 inches from the glass and it didnt feel overly hot to the hand test. also I didnt have a whole lot of...

Things you wished you'd known before first grow

rhe only thing I really wish I had understood better was radiant heat from lights. I started with too much light (for what I could handle) in too small of a space. and then because I wasnt getting cupped leaves I didnt think it was heat stress, and it was small enough that the stress wasnt...

CALLING ALL HASH AND WAX MAKERS!!!!!!!!!

I remember scraping out my grinder (I use a coffee grinder, one of the little ones tjat grinds like a cup at a time) and id gather all the fluffier kief and put it in a vice... looked pretty damn similar to hyroots pic. why press the buds with heat when you can just grind em up and smoke em, and...

New some help, inherited a bunch of stuff

if the lights are wired for 120 than set up the controller for 120. something to think about is how many amps your going to be running, your lights are going to be using 17.6 amps bythemselves (which seems high to me for 600s, but I dont use 600s) so are your two fans and whatever else using...

    Lowering THC in Extract

I mean no offense but I feel that you may have a very loose handle on the chemical aspects of the plant.. I dont even think I scratch the surface of things to be known about it but to start, in the plant itself you will most likely have higher concentrations of THCA and CBDA. these two...

    t5 ho fixture issue.

so I just ran a fan off of every different circuit I could reach with my longest hd extension cord and the same thing happened on every circuit, so I'm thinking it has to be the ballast now..

    t5 ho fixture issue.

the fan doesnt slow at all and I'm definitely under my circuits max load even after multiplying by 1.25 for continous load and taking 20% off the topout max of the circuit. and its not when I have two fans running, its when I have either fan running. but my inline exhaust fan doesnt mess with...

    Lowering THC in Extract

ok, if this person is telling you that the plant material is 70% cannabidiol they are lying to you. the only thing I can think of that makes sense is maybe 70% of the plant material present came from plants that were supposedly containing an above average c.b.d. content.

    t5 ho fixture issue.

I dont think it had to do with the receptacles being backwards because this hasnt always happened. it just was.srarting whenii startedthus thread. I also thought my fan motor was causing it so I went out and bought a different fan, same issue. I'll check out my grounds tomorrow morning and...
