    Finally My First Grow

Flushing is a controversial topic around here. If your in soil I wouldn't "flush" her. I would however give only water the last few weeks and let the plant use up what nutes its been storeing it its leafs.

Should I be worried about this?

Wow, I have never seen that before. I have no clue, the only thing I can say is that you shouldn't water everyday. Let her dry out a bit, 2-3 days before you water, or top of the soil is dry down to 1 knuckle deep.

    1st ever grow!

You didn't mess anything up, but I would transplant them each into there own pot asap. Just be careful and you shouldn't see any shock. I would pug the holes to the pot you have them in and slowly fill it with room temp water, about half full or 3/4 full. It will make separating them from the...

repot or not, that is the question

Oops, missed that detail about 12/12 from seed. Im not going to tell you how you should grow, but letting them veg for at least 1 month helps them not stretch as much. Wish you luck and hope the best for them.

Help! Can't figure out the problem with my plants

Your not running out of time. Cal and mag are simi mobile, so it takes a few weeks for the problem to show its self, and will take a few weeks to recover. In the meantime, don't over water them, let your pots dry out almost all the way. This could push them up to 5-6 days without needing water...

repot or not, that is the question

I wouldn't transplant, that pot should be fine all the way to harvest. They look hungry for some nitrogen, be careful not to over do it. They are a bit stretchy, likely due to not enough light in veg.

Leaves curling/burning sporadically. Whats the deal?

Looking at the new pic with the flash on, I agree. It looks like damage from PH fluctuations. Also I agree with Happyman. I think your lights might be to close or to strong for some of your girls. Wish I could help more. I have grown indoors, but its been a few years. I primary grow outdoors...

Plant "problem" I have never seen. Have you?

It's a combo of excess nitrogen and phosphorus deficiency.

Should i top or rather bend my plants down?

First off, the tallest one needs a transplant BAD. Don't top them. Just poke some holes along the edge of your new pot and use some garden tape ( green, stretchy) and LST the crap out of it.

    Flushing before flower?

Thanks for the heads up, but I doubt I would be much fun to follow around. Plus I have been dealing with trolls long before they were called that. Back in my day we just called them assholes.

    Flushing before flower?

Thank you pin, I would like very much to just set any kind of arguments aside. If you feel strongly about not flushing, then you should feel free to say so. If I comment on a thread and give some advice, I'm just trying to help with pure intent, as I feel you are. Theres no need to fight, if we...

    Flushing before flower?

Alright, you haven't misread. I'm not going to get into an argument over this. I grow outdoors, not in pots or bags, but in the ground. For me, flushing before starting my top dressing and bloom nutes works. That is, it doesn't hurt them. Does it help and how much, I don't really have data I...

    Flushing before flower?

Pinworm, bro. We are not talking about preharvest flushing. Maybe you miss read what we are saying to do and when? I agree, flushing before harvest is not a good method.

    Flushing before flower?

Fixing a deficiency is much easier and less stressful then trying to fix nute burn or lockout.

    Flushing before flower?

To each there own. I have always treated preflowering like a week old seedling. Back off the veg nutes, give water for a week and start bloom nutes 1/4 strength and work my way up to full.

    Flushing before flower?

I agree, a flush before changing from veg nutes to flower nutes is a good practice. It will get rid of some salt build up and gives it a short brake from nutes as it preflowers.
