Help With Fox Farm Outdoor Ferts

Anyone? I know the Foxfarm trio (grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom) are very popular. Can anyone with experience using them (especially outdoors) clear up my confusion with the feeding chart?

How deep to plant month old plants.

Thanks for the responses. I forgot I made this thread! I may trim the first set and bury really deep. I figure there a good chance more roots will come out of the stem, and the plan will be stronger if it isn't so tall when I transplant.

Help With Fox Farm Outdoor Ferts

Got a fert question for you guys. I added some Fox Farm Marine Cuisine to my outdoor plots today and watered them thoroughly. I plan to move my plants into the plots probably next weekend. I bought Fox Farm Grow Big the other day to help with the vegetative growth. Got it home and realized...

How deep to plant month old plants.

Got a question about how deep I can plant my seedlings when I put them in their outdoor spots. Basically, my plants started their life with the wrong spectrum CFL's and as a result are quite stretched. For the last 2 weeks they have been growing out in full sun and have much improved but on...

    Newbie....Outdoor grow

My guess is that your friends plants are shorter because he has the light really close to his plants compared to you. Plants will always stretch towards the light. Poor lighting makes lanky plants.

    Confused on nutrient amounts outdoors

/bump Don't mean to be rude with the "bumps" but I'm really wanting someone with knowledge in this area to respond before tomorrow morning since that's when I plan to head out and do the last bit of prep of my plots before I transplant next weekend.

    bent plants

If they aren't just bending towards the light, I'd recommend staking them up somehow.

    Confused on nutrient amounts outdoors

anyone? Can anyone at least confirm if I've got the amounts right or if I am horribly incorrect? I'm hoping to go out tomorrow and put the marine cuisine in. I certainly don't want to over do it. If I don't get a response I suppose I'll just be cautious and use less rather than more. Since...

    Worried about Outdoor nutrients

Hi there. First time grower here. Have 17 seedlings that I hope to move to their outdoor homes in 1.5-2 weeks from now. I prepared their plots weeks ago but didn't have the funds at the time to buy most of the products that had been recommended to me. I am growing near a creek with what...

Need ferts for outdoors or not??

dopeyG, I understand your point. But to me, that would imply that I would wait for signs of something wrong and then try to fix it. I do see your point in reading the leaves to see what they are lacking and what they will require, but at that point it could be too late.. and since I can only...

Need ferts for outdoors or not??

Thanks. But Im specifically wondering about the fox farm line up. DO ppl use them for outdoors? If so, is it the kind of thing you have to water into your plants on a daily basis?? Is there any kind of outdoor grow and bloom ferts that can be added on a weekly basis?

Need ferts for outdoors or not??

Got a question regarding whether or not to purchase liquid ferts and use for my outdoor grow. It's my first grow and I have holes set up with a blend of Pro-mix BX, perlite, and coir mixed with some natural soil and the bottom and sides of the holes are a denser almost clay type of earth...

    Starting seedlings on Nutrients Q

Thanks frmrboi. I'll use full strength in a day or 2 when I water and let you know how it goes. The bottle says to use it 2x a month on potted plants. Hopefully my plants are outta here in a month and in their outdoor spots. I don't want to over do it, would I be right in thinking that adding...

    Starting seedlings on Nutrients Q

Ok great. So I think that in a few days when I water next I'll try adding some to the mix. I know this seems basic, but since the bottle says to add 5 ml's per litre of water.. I should try adding a bit more than 1ml/litre of water to start? Being roughly 1/4 strength of directions.
