Another vote for not ready….let all the fresh white pistils turn brown and recede, then you can start thinking that it’s close to ripe. Keep a close eye on any dead or dying leaves….when they die all the way into the bud it can lead to nasty things.

I think it’s a random situation….the other 2 plants are pretty far along and within 2-3 weeks of being ripe and I don’t see any signs of seeds. Let’s hope that’s the case when it’s all said and done.
