    What do I have here

Kinda looks like a build up of calcium? I know we usually think of calcium being white, but I get the same reddish brown, impossible to rinse off build up on my smart pots too.

Can a mini split condenser be installed indoors?

What's up with your grow space and your lighting? Is there any possible non-AC workaround? Like getting lights that run cooler, or opening the door to your grow room for cool air from the house AC?

    HLG 350r in veg?

The red in the spectrum is no problem, there is enough blue in there to Veg just fine. As for the setting, less than half strength to start. Maybe like 150 watts? Up to like 70% (250 watts?) when they're bigger?

    "Just add water soil" problem

What's up with your lighting? How many watts and how close is it to the top of your big plant? To me it looks like your plants are doing well, until they get high enough to get blasted by your LEDs. I'm not an expert on all forms of lighting, but that shit looks way to close. Maybe try...

    Alfalfa fermentation?

I made some of the Alfalfa extract. No fermentation, just alfalfa, some Earth Juice Catalyst for enzymes and fulvic acid. I sprayed some on some vegging plants and 2 days later they pushed out a bunch of pistols or pre-flowers or whatever you call them, while still under veg hours. Weird! I'm...

Need advice finishing this organic grow…

It may be too late for any major improvements. You did a great job training, and grew a pretty nice plant. Especially for your first time with organics. Looking forward, maybe supply a little more nitrogen through flower for your next run. The N is important in organics. It keep leaves green...

    Recommendations for Silicic Acid product

I say to continue with Silica during flower.

    Clones Yellowing???

How long after roots show until you move them to some kind of medium? I grow in soil and usually put clones into the dirt shortly after I see roots. Am I missing out by not letting the roots grow a little, first?

Best practices for capture of dry ice hash

The dry ice method is way easier and faster than using water and ice. One thing I forgot about was keeping the bag dry when using the dry ice. I rinsed the bubble bag one last time to be sure it was clean, right before I made the hash. When I started shifting Tons of resin got stuck to the wet...

Best practices for capture of dry ice hash

I made some on top of a mirror, (on top of the kitchen table) thinking the 2 x 4 surface would be big enough to catch everything. It was not, trichs still went over the sides, into the frame around the mirror. And onto the table where maybe there was some dog hair or two. I think a box and...

Using coco for full or at least semi organic automated grow

I like the microbe charge stuff too. I mix a 1/2 cup with my EWC or Compost and let it sit for a few days to "activate" it before I make compost tea or extract. It really gets that white fuzz going. Cool info about mixing it in the coco. But I guess I should have thought of that? Anyway, I'll...

    Alfalfa fermentation?

I grow with clones (of clones of clones...), so it's easy to add stuff, round by round, to see if it "works." Compared to neglecting my plants and giving them water only, messing around with Microbes, Frass, Fish Hydrolysate and Silica improves yields by 50%. Anyway, I haven't done any...

    Alfalfa fermentation?

I've been using Frass also. Frass Tea, once a week. Last grow it knocked out some thrips and helped keep things green until harvest, so I'll keep it up. I mixed up some Alfalfa + Enzymes + Humic Acid too. I'm excited to see how it works. Adding the humic acid to kelp extract seems really...

Using coco for full or at least semi organic automated grow

A little more "Microbe Charge" than "Grow" or "Bloom." And don't hesitate to mix up a custom grow/bloom hybrid recipe. That helps a lot. I got some of the grow and bloom before I found the microbe charge, I wasn't sure how much of the microbe to use.

    Magnesium?

Could be a lack of magnesium. What did you use for crustacean meal and rock dust in your mix? What are you using for water? It could be a lack of microbes in the soil, so the magnesium isn't available. How good were your worm castings or compost when I built your soil? Have you do anything to...

    Alfalfa fermentation?

Check this video out. Alfalfa + Humic Acid + Enzymes, soaked in water 24-48 hours, to make the good stuff available to the plants. 1 pound of alfalfa meal per gallon of water! I've made alfalfa tea in the past, but not with that much, usually just like 1/4 or 1/2 cup for a 5 gallon bucket...

Great looking plants...weed not so great

More micro nutrients, so you can develop all the good terpenes. Maybe calcium and magnesium because you're using distilled water. Maybe sulfur because everyone says it makes weed dank. And maybe the other obscure micros because your leaves are turning purple and yellow with pink veins. And...

Best organic way to increase terpenes.

Are you dudes familiar with "Catalyst" from the Earth Juice brand? It's got molasses, kelp extract, yeast, malt and bran. All the things we've mentioned to kick up microbes and increase nutrient absorption.

    In Pepe we trust

Except for the spots it looks pretty good. What can you tell us about these micronutrient issues? What do you think was missing from the soil to cause lack of iron? What did you use to add iron or manganese later? For awhile I used TM-7 (7 micronutrients + humic acid) watered in for all my...
