    How Much Air Is Enough?

Thanks for the replies guys. I agree with both of you, to a point. However; I have recently moved to Arizona and the RH here is absolutely arid, typically single digits to low teens! I find the excess humidity to be a benefit and I want to avoid the "Windtunnel Effect". With LED lights heat...

    How Much Air Is Enough?

I've read anywhere from 5 exchanges per minute - to 1 exchange every 5 minutes. That tells me it's really not that critical! I'm thinking that 2 or 3 exchanges per minute sounds about right. Let's hear what anybody else has to say, how many air exchanges per minute does your ventilation...

    Who Sells Quantum Boards?

Does anyone besides HLG sell just the boards, no driver, nothing else? Well ok, maybe a heatsink. I've looked around some, I just haven't seen it, maybe I've just been looking in the wrong place. Just curious, I would think any major player in the game would be glad to make a few extra bucks...

heat issue with growing in soil in pots on hot balcony

I know from personal experience that high 90's - "100-teens" won't kill your plants. It will just slow down the growing process. I grew a dozen or so plants outside in that heat (high 90's - over 110 f. every fuckin' day) for a whole season. And, at harvest, none of them were over about 24"...

    Hydro vs soil

Please explain your reply. Coco is hydro because it provides no nutrients; in that respect it is hydro.

    Scrog

It appears that the plants are just growing up through the net, or maybe using it for a little separation. That's not what a SCROG is. In a SCROG the plant is all tangled up in the net; woven and wrapped up (laterally) to provide a flat, even, canopy.

Is there optimal amount of light that you can give for photoperiod plants? 18/6 to 24 hours? And when to swap?

The information you are asking for is somewhat debatable and very much a matter of personal preference. Regarding your use of the word "optimal" in the title; do you mean optimal for the plant - or optimal to achieve whatever you are trying to achieve? My point is; there's more than one way to...

One would think so! But there are other things to be considered here (details - details). The one question I have right up front is "How many seeds"?

Time to flip this scrog to flower?

I don't see a SCROG, I just see a net with plants growing (unwoven) up through it. If it really was a SCROG you should have flipped it when the net was about 70-80% full. Good luck!
