    UV?

I've got a 5metre strip of UV 395nm and I'm wondering if it is not too much in an 8x4 tent. I've got it running along the top of the tent. Has anyone got any opinions please

    Pot size.

I'm under the impression that I should use a medium sized pot between the starter cup and the final pot. Is this nessaccerilly true.

I'm probably going to use the dual spectrum for flowering unless there is an overwhelming response to the contrary. Does anyone have any informed opinions please.

Ha I look pretty stupid here eh! I've now bothered to check out the prices on eBay and you're right. There's 2nd hand digi ballasts going well cheap.

    Lights!!!

Yes lighting!! I have a good digital ballast with the option of 250-400_600+660w settings. Lucky me. I also have a DIY ballast with a transformer coil and an ignitor component. The DIY ballast has a significant strobe as seen on a camera , where as the digital ballast is good constant light. Can...

Does baking powder really work on mould and fungas?

Really, milk? We had a craze of growing carrot tops in a saucer of water when I was a kid. They looked like little islands with Palm trees. Anyway I was told putting milk in the saucer would be good but it killed it !!!

Yellow leaf spot mould. I'm a relatively inexperienced gardener and I have made this diagnosis through the grow weed easy sites description of leaf spot mould.

Does baking powder really work on mould and fungas?

Yeah I'm hoping it will work, it is said to be virtually harmless and safe on flowers etc which is good as mine are about 11days into 12/12 . The weather is not helping with constant high humidity. Grrrrrrrrr..

Does baking powder really work on mould and fungas?

As the heading suggested , will a bit of baking powder and a bio soap spray be effective in combating leaf spot mould?? I got the idea off Google whilst looking into what fungicidal sprays are on the market generally!

    Yellow leaf spot mould.

Hmm. I believe I have yellow leaf spot mould on my plants. They have been in 12/12 for a week and a half and I'm starting to think that it will wipe out the entire grow. I'm thinking that lollipop them is the only hope. I've removed a lot of leaf this last week and the yellow spot has just...

    So many questions.

As the heading suggested I've got many questions. Liquid oxygen/ hydrogen peroxide. I'm presuming that the only criteria for this is the diluted strength and whatever it's diluted with. Can anyone confirm this for me. Next and similarly basic I think. Would a plaincalcium mono nutrient alongside...

    Roots in fabric pots?

I've just undone the stitches to get the plants out of the fabric pots with the roots intact. Going to invest in the root pruning ones that are like egg trays asap.

    Should have repotted.

I've just started tying them down! I was hoping to remove the bottom two nodes and hoped to get fat top buds in a short time but it's all been so long now I would be stupid to ignore their potential innit

    Should have repotted.

Yeah I see it now, there's no alternative but to re-pot them. They're going into 4gal pots in a couple of hours. Of course there's going to be a very real chance they are going to out grow the tent now but I am going to do my best to take the bottom flower sites off and tie down the rest...

    Roots in fabric pots?

Yeah you can almost see them getting sucked back into the pot to be digested.

    Should have repotted.

High gardening lovers! I have an issue. (Surprise surprise) . I have 6ladies in 2(us)gal fabric pots and they are drinking themselves dry every day. I can't afford the electric to repot and maintain the vegin light schedule for another 2weeks so after feeding them on 600/700 ppm every day at...
