What to remove? This looks too much...

The size of the buds depends on genetics (mostly). I have two phenotypes of one strain growing and they are uniquely different from each other in almost every way. They grew side-by-side in the exact same conditions. I've had other plants produce large, hard colas right next to a different...

The AeroLight A150SE, 150W LED Grow Light

In my opinion, the best light for a 2 X 2 is the ViparSpectra XS 1500 Pro. They are about $80 on Amazon if you clip the coupon. I've got two of them.....love them so far.

    Potassium Deficiency or Overwatering?

    1. Add 1 TBSP of dolomite lime to every gallon of soil and mix in well. I also added a few TBSP of chestnut-shell bio-char. I completely abandoned the "organic" approach to fertilizer and started using the Jack's 3-2-1 system. 2. Make sure that you pH the incoming water slightly high until...

    Potassium Deficiency or Overwatering?

    Hello again! :)

    Nanners. What to do?

Yeah I think at 9 weeks, just pluck them out as you see them. You might get a proto-seed or two buried in a bud...It's not a big deal. IF they would have started throwing them early in flower, then you'd have a bigger worry, but you're almost home.

How cold can drying room be if 60% RH?

If I can make the drying room colder than 60F, then just HOW much colder can I go before potential problems might arise? The RH% is pretty much 60% all the time. Thanks

    Potassium Deficiency or Overwatering?

It doesn't hurt anything to check the runoff...like I said "just for giggles..." I was always TOLD the same thing....No need to check runoff....etc, But it's nothing to fear and only takes a few minutes to do. I did it, in spite of advice otherwise...and it paid off big time by confirming my...

    Potassium Deficiency or Overwatering?

Just for fun, check the runoff water pH. I'll bet the soil is overly acidic. I run almost the same soil mix as you and this last time, my plants started to look really sick. I knew it was not a deficiency because the soil should have plenty of nutrients in it right out of the bag to last at...

    Did I lollipop too much

I've got a similar-looking plant. It should be okay. Just don't mess with it for awhile and allow it to recover.

    ** Bob Bitchen's Beans ** Community Journal **

It does okay so far when I move it around.... IF (and I don't think it will)...but IF it starts to bulk up, it will be supported by the tent walls and the other plants.

    ** Bob Bitchen's Beans ** Community Journal **

My two phenotypes of Chernobyl Slymer cut are coming along and smelling very nice. The one that I've been calling "the wispy one" has turned out to be a literal tumbleweed! VERY landrace sativa-like....meaning a LOT of larf and popcorn buds on thin branches that go everywhere. I've been...

Jack's 3-2-1/Master Blend...replace calcium nitrate with calcium sulfate during flower?

I suppose so, but I'm already using Epsom salt, so the magnesium is taken care of.

    Self pollinated plant seeds?

If this is true, then Chemdog and every hybrid that came from it is "guilty" of displaying intersex traits -even NOT under stress- and should be culled....just kidding.:) I like Chemdog. For me, not being in the marijuana business, I'd rather have a plant that might throw some 'nanners IF it...

This summer I want to grow a huge plant outdoors. Advice?

Check out the videos by the Mendo Dope boys....They grow the biggest trees I've ever seen.

Jack's 3-2-1/Master Blend...replace calcium nitrate with calcium sulfate during flower?

Yes, I agree. Both Jacks Part A and Master Blend Part A have low amounts of Nitrogen in and of themselves, but they both also require Calcium Nitrate for the complete formula. However, adding all that extra Calcium Nitrate is too much nitrogen for flower. And yes, I would only do this during...

Jack's 3-2-1/Master Blend...replace calcium nitrate with calcium sulfate during flower?

I know a few growers who have been using the Jack's 3-2-1 system or Master Blend's system and love them....but the problem is that these systems call for Calcium Nitrate. The idea during flower, is to minimize the nitrogen but maintain the calcium. So, if the Calcium Nitrate is replaced with...

    Trichome clarification.

^^same...You need to wait until the pistils recede and the calyxes swell....like Cousin Bo said -probably 2 or 3 more weeks.

Mid week 5..can I get an opinion

Yeah there are so many hybrid strains out there now it's hard to say that there's "one" flowering time. They ripen when they ripen and that's it. I think your plants look pretty good!
