New and Improved TnT Foodie thread

Everything in moderation, right? I stopped eating beef in 2016. Was actually in your neck of the woods. Manny’s in MSP. In town for a Viking game. Bunch of us ate there. Had the absolute worst cut and cooked porterhouse ever. Paid over $100 for it too. Might have been a double. I politely...

Frozen blueberries and white chocolate are an excellent addition to any sweet bread pudding recipe. And I love twice cooked pork. Haven’t eaten pork in years but that was one of my faves.

Great live seafood. Fresh poke is very good too. It's convenient and well stocked. Manila building is still there but they've been closed a while. Lots of Indian markets around here now.

Occasionally I'll make them from scratch. Select company only. But with Uwajimaya so close I usually buy their fresh noodles. Only way to go. I get the fresh black beans in the bag there too.

Did I Make The Cookies Too Strong!?

I use one ounce of ground primo per pound of butter. No shake or trim. A teaspoon is a dose. Last time I baked them my wife ate one cookie (about 1 tsp of butter) and wanted to go to the emergency room until I calmed her down. I myself don't do edibles. Way too strong for me. My wife doesn't do...

Still white pistils but trichomes are cloudy ?

^ I agree, that’s not a fade. Something’s up with the soil. Re: the pistils, your calyxes have more swelling to do. Don’t put too much into the trichs. It’s not done.

Wonderful to see this new thread and already full of beautiful food. Thank you Curious. Fritatta di patata … basically potatoes and eggs. A little onion and chili and gobs of extra virgin olive oil. Set the bottom stovetop, then finish in the oven to fluff up and crisp at the same time.

    Bear’s Kitchen: a T&T foodie thread

First to comment on Curious’ post. It was kind of the elephant in the room for a day. But you’re right, I didn’t know, so I PM’d Curious yesterday. What’s yer point here?

    Bear’s Kitchen: a T&T foodie thread

Knowing all this makes it harder to participate in this thread, which is one of the only social ones I visit here. But we gotta start somewhere. Apology … belated or not … heartfelt or not … is a good place to begin.

I’m glad others have chimed in. I didn’t want to be the first. Sounds like an apology is in order and bygones can be bygones. Step up Cannabineer.

Well I learned a couple things just now. Curious enjoys rubbing butt and Darkweb likes their butt rubbed. Somebody has good taste in cheese. Somebody else put holes in their nails. Cannabineer has some good taste. Chunky steelhead cake with a chili mayo and spicy broccolini. Yes, I cheated...

    Absolutely no high

I think the OP is getting too much advice also. The main thing I saw in your pic is you do not have a whole lot of trichs. That affects the high. Not the dry. Genes. Light. Nutes. That’s what you want to work on. I’d try a different strain and provider first. Good luck.

    Nematodes or fungus gnats ?

Looks like a pot worm, not bug larvae.

    Absolutely no high

I think you got some good advice here. See what others think of the high, go easy on the nutes, find your light’s sweet spot. Try a different seed bank. All good advice. There’s no fix all. Light, nutrients, genetics all play a role. The dried buds look light on trichomes to me.
