    TESTING LAB SCAM??

In my opinion, most testing labs appear to be scams. I think there is some "payola" going on amongst commercial grow ops and testing labs. And there are also a few "tricks" that commercial grow ops use in order to skew the intention of the test to begin with...For example: Some...(actually MOST)...

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

Sorry to be blathering on and on...but I just remembered something I wanted to pose to all the newer generation smokers who might be slightly skeptical of another "well-back-in-MY-day" anecdote.... Just as an example....I'm sure most of us have had the experience of driving somewhere along some...

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

For me, the evolution of getting high on marijuana was starting out on some Mexican weed that was grown (by today's standards) completely wrong!....and yet...it wasn't grown wrong at all! What I mean is, almost all the "lids" (;)) were leafy and seedy and I cannot remember ever seeing a trichome...

    Trichomes, cloudy=good, amber=shit

I'm one of the older forum members and I can testify to the fact that, back in the day, our weed was....simpler. There was good weed and there was ditch weed. Whenever anyone had the good weed, you could smell it as soon as the holder of it entered the room. And, yes, it did smell like a skunk...

    Anybody use CFLS and SUNLIGHT?

I didn't read all the posts here, but just as an FYI....When I bought the house I am in, it was old and had old windows made back in the 1920's...and there was a room that was used as a kind of solarium because it has a good SW exposure. All my houseplants loved that room ...until we replaced...

I have Seeds straight from Afghanistan, (mazar sharif)!!!!

Expect it to grow taller than most Indicas, I think.... ...I grew "Dark Star" (Purple Kush X Mazar-I-Sharif) and the phenotype I got was a giant!...But...it wasn't very flavorful, had very little smell - a bit like raisins or black currants, maybe.... and wasn't very potent. It looked...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Just when I thought I had found the ultimate deal on a light I have been wanting for years (an Apache Tech AT600)...I happened onto a live chatroom feed from former forum member Growmau5 who put on the video cast with Vitaly from ChilLED grow lights.. It seems that Vitaly has been working on...

    WTH is this bug?

Yeah sure looks similar to that sawfly maggot. Caterpillars are generally up to no good in a garden.

    Cooking with ABV Pot

I've used ABV for making butter in the past...But using straight ABV bud butter will taste like shit and look brown. So...What I did was I made Quiso using Everclear, first and then I used that to mix. A lot of the sulfurous compounds were diminished and the taste was improved greatly.

Why do my buds always turn red when done drying LOOK PLZ

Red? I'm not seeing it. But, in general, yes, the green chlorophyl will oxidize over time and lose some of the green -much the same way blood comes out red but then dries brown...It's all light and oxygen that does it. If you want to slow down the oxidation, then you have to get rid of the...

    The flush "myth"

For me, in my garden, I can't stress enough how important it is to use soil amendments that open up and lighten the soil and create a lot of airspace so that when you water, you can push a lot of water quickly through the soil and pull in that good oxygen through the roots. I love the chunky...
