What soil to use with BMO products?

I'm amazed someone has over 1k post and doesn't know what BMO is. Anyway I used Roots, mixed with extra perlite and a bit or FFOF. Can't really say its the best specifically for BMO but I find it to be a good soil and works well with BMO for me.

Veg more, as he said. You want to make sure it fully roots and returns to normal before flowering to avoid stressing it into a hermy

Newbie, looking for help with seedlings...

1.Probably, the taproot and just seedlings in general are very fragile. But I doubt you killed it or even really stunted it. 2.No, these plants as said are very sensitive and this includes to light. A seed planted at a proper depth gives the plant a couple days of maturing before it breaks the...

rootin powder or gel other uses

I had the same idea recently. At the same time I mixed up a couple gallons of fertilizer (Blue Mountian Organics, FP, SPT FH) I decided to add a small bit of Olivias Cloning Solution. (All I have currently) for 2+ weeks thereafter the plant, though completely healthy green, was sagging and...

    Water: The Most Essential Compound

Well if you by chance see this could you explain to me the differences between Spring, Well, and Distilled Water in terms of which would be best for a plant?

12g does 30amps for taps, or circuits at a different temperature rating but the circuit protection required for a 12awg is 20amps, see 240.4. Or we looking at 310-315? same page shows 14awg as 15 amperes, and more importantly a fuse works on heat so there is not magically number it just trips...

Keeping a sativa in a 4x6 inch pot

Topping wouldn't really help as the new tops would simply grow as the first did. Depending on width of the box you may be able to LST it, and yes a smaller pot would considerably effect its size but could also lead to other plant issues.

Just divide wattage by voltage. (So for a 1k light running 120v it'd be 1000/120=8.3amps HPS would use less wattage which is what you are billed for.(150watt equivalent means nothing besides lumen output) It would also put off less heat since it's less watts, but as its only one bulb the heat...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

Well first off are we actually talking about fuses here or circuit breakers? (Sounds like it actually is fuses in this case?) Eitherway your looking at possibly 50+amps (depends on size of pumps and ac/heating units) with what your wanting to run. Personally if I was dropping that much on a...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

Does not work that way, you don't magically switch over to 240v. You have to have 3 conductors for American 240 a typical wire only has two. Also it requires a different breaker that will take up two slots. So really switching over wouldn't have much of a difference then running 14/3 and making...

    36 hrs oh darkness? really?

I always use about 36 hours of darkness when I switch to flowering. I find it helps speed the process and gives the plant a smooth transition

Freeleaf- Really its up to you. Yes 12/3 can run two 20amp circuits as the neutral can be shared between the red and black conductors. If you need that though is not something we can answer for you. To help your decision though just remember to get the load take the watts and divide by the...

    Anybody Ever Grow Tobacco?

Again were talking about curing not drying here. You think people don't buy Mexican brick because it's not cured? Hell no, its crappy weed but its cheap and in vast quantities and pulls in millions yearly. (Hell probably monthly)

    Cancer cure!?

This isn't new information at all, and is where the tar argument comes from. The tar in marijuana is 4 times harsher then that of tobacco, both from how long we hold it in and the type of smoke. However, its also been shown to kill aging (cancerous) cells; so is it OK to smoke because it kills...

    Marijuana Inc... Anyone seen it?

Thats a laugh. a 10lb dried plant would be a 10ft tall Sativa that takes 6 months to flower. Thats not something your going to see inside. Also I think most media reports like that are basing it on the street value per gram; but a grower of any scale doesn't actually push their own product so...

    Anybody Ever Grow Tobacco?

Sun curing sounds like drying haha. Anyway yeah I would be interested in growing this if I could find some real facts on it. From what I've found online its 2+yrs to cure properly but apparently there a difference in opinion there.

Well I know you people aren't asking me but I'll give my answer till he gets back to you. (Do electrical work myself and am back in school for electrical technologies so I have some understanding of it) Firstly, a fuse and a breaker aren't the same thing. Old panel boards used actual fuses...

Well its a bad idea because a power company doesn't really care how many watts your pulling as long as your paying for it. When power is being lost though a service crew will be sent to check it and as that's a felony law enforcement will be called. To answer the question though, you really need...

Electricians follow NEC National Electrical Code not UBC and also each county usually has their own laws that must be followed in addition to the NECs. Also I would skip the conduit, as its a waist of money and will cause unnecessary work in the future. As for Arc vs GFCI, well GFCI is more for...
