Appreciate the heads-up, wonder. We're starting them from seed, so I'm gonna hope there will be no bugs along with 'em - but I'll watch, just the same. I've got a free CFL rack, still - maybe I'll move the maters downstairs.
I usually presoak the seed(s) for 12hours or so. Put them in a moist paper napkin, in a tupperware container until it sprouts, and then into the medium (soil or peat pellet). Covered until the baby breakes the surface.:peace:
Yep. I top also, according to Uncle Ben's method for four colas. Always flower around 12" high, and all my plants finish out a tad over three feet, with the occassional rogue hitting four feet.
Thanks all, and SICC, appreciate the tip. GFK - My flowering girls, clones included, are all GHS Lemon Skunk. I hadn't realized you had a little one on the way - when you said your son was coming, I thought you meant for a visit! lol Congrats!
Sativas take fucking forever to flower - I try and stay away from them for that reason, I just don't have the patience. Not to mention they want copius amounts of light to finish. If you wait, they will get bigger than they are - however it's up to you, of course.
A healthy plant will continue putting out new, white pistils, until the day you cut her - that's one of her efforts to keep trying for pollination, as the older, "done" hairs would no longer work for that.
Without a pic, I would say you burned them with the light. It's too close. Put your hand under there for at least 30 seconds - if it is uncomfortable on your skin, it will burn your plants.
Hard to tell what's going on with the color of the pics, but it is possible one has nute burn. Different strains react differently to nutes - some take more, some are super sensitive. The "lean" look you're seeing is because the plants are too stretched, from the light having been too far away -...
Blue Cheese - there's a strain I really wanted to try, but keep passing up every time I order - always find something else, lol. Is that just one plant, it looks like 2?
