It looks like a PH problem the tap water here test at 8.6 and I had that problem through a grow I adjusted my water PH and soil stabilized but it took a while get that cheap PH meterbongsmilie

I think you'll find growing near the hills of SC very nice, haven't lived there in a min, but I'm sure things haven't changed the weather is great and so is the soil not like where i live now it's all clay I liked growing in the sand but don't miss the salt:)

when you plant wet the soil good after putting sprouts in, not wet like dripping out the bottom but saturated, and if you have a spray bottle keep the top of soil moist by spraying twice a day it helps them pop up, and keep an eye out for fungus on your soil if its on the surface it's killing...

spidermites don't like moisturebongsmilie that's very true...and misting slows transpiration so like stated before if your growroom is very dry misting is a good idea.
