It works. Though the only real "help" it offers is to eliminate the need to rewet your paper towels. I'd do it in a coffee mug or another opaque vessel though.

Depends on what time of day i smell them, sometimes I get notta, but if i go down an hour after lights off, I smell all sorts of stink. Every now and then, I think they have their own coffee pot hidden down there, because I swear I can smell it.....mmmmm coffee, brb.

You throw 'em in the dark for 24-36 hours to make em think they're dying. This triggers the reproductive cycle and they move into budding faster.
