Hey there. Sorry I couldn't help on the CFL issue, but I use 27w and didn't wanna steer you wrong there. If you're just planting the whole cube, then water after. No nutes for your babies, until they are at least three weeks old.:leaf:

Yep, that's it. No it won't harm the plant. Be sure to allow it to drain well, so it isn't sitting in excess water.

Hi, welcome to the forum. To flush, you run three times as much water as your container size, through the pot. Example - if you have a one gallon container, run three gallons of water through.:leaf:

Yep 2.5" is way too close with that powerful of a CFL - think you got it right, moving to 10". Looks like a combination of stress/burning from the light, along with your PH being too high.

You could still throw that hermie in your hash pile - won't get a lot because it's so young, but better than nothing. You don't want those seeds - seeds from a self pollinating hermie will all be hermie.
