    My First Harvest

Not yet, she's still drying - not gonna take too much longer though, the buds weren't that big.

    take a look at these!!

Change them around one week into flower.

    2wks into flower. hermi.

Yep, I'd pull it - those male flowers can hide pretty well, and all it would take is one to pollinate your whole crop. If you have a second area you could always finish growing it out in there.

    Deficiency ?

I think he's just pointing out that you tend to poke fun at others for asking questions that you think are obvious. Not much fun being on the other end, eh? Probably need some pics to get help with this one.

    Hash Making? Hash Bags?

Have you looked into the Gumby method of making hash? No bags required. Google it, there are some great youtube videos on it.

    Halogen / Seedling issues

Yep, you got it right. If you have a Wal-Mart around you, you can use the emergency blankets (found in the camping section) for your walls, instead - cost $2.88 each. It does sound like you're overwatering though - let them dry out to a couple inches deep before watering.

    How's This Transition?

Looking good, those first pics the poor little things look about half dead, now look at 'em - great job with the recovery! + rep

Double the Lights? Help Me Decide

Yep that's just one, they took the topping very well and all grew four colas for me.

Double the Lights? Help Me Decide

Awesome, sounds like double lights have the vote - what about the airflow? Should I trim back some of the lower growth or not needed? (See pic above). They're pretty bushy.

Flowering, how long before sex is noticable

I like the 27w CFL's, you can get them in 2700K (perfect for flowering). Home Depot, Lowes, places like that are your best bet - I get a four pack of 27w at lowes for $12.00. They definately like more light when flowering!

Double the Lights? Help Me Decide

600w isn't an option right now, but it is on my "I want" list. Size wise - I topped them for four colas, so they are a bit on the short side, but pretty bushy - and will have vegged for eight weeks when I switch. Here's a pic of one taken last night, and still going for two weeks. So use both...

    I gotta problem!!!

Kinda strange - what size pots do you have, and do they have drainage? Maybe you're giving them too much water when you do water - mine are in three gallon buckets, temps are lower than yours, and they dry out roughly every 3-4 days. Two weeks seems like a really long time between waterings.

    First Timer (CFL Indoors)

Looks like you have enough CFL's there for a couple plants. If they've sprouted already, they need light right away. The plant food is more geared towards flowering - the three numbers? You want the first (nitrogen) to be the higher number for vegging - but don't even consider giving them any...

Double the Lights? Help Me Decide

Hey guys and gals, I have a question for ya. In two weeks my Trainwreck babies will be going into flower. I have two 400w HPS lamps, both will be free by then. So the question is - would it be worth it to run both 400w lamps, or would it be a waste for five plants? I mean I know it would be 800w...

    Greetings,questions.

Sounds like a good plan. If you have a 250 actual (not equivelant) watt CFL, that'll work great. What is the K range? You'll want the 5000K - 6500K for vegging, and the 2700K - 3000K for flowering. Keep the light as close to your plants as possible - with my 27w CFL's this is within two inches...

NO! my baby drooped over(pics included)

Nah, don't be so hard on yourself - it's a learning process - and I promise, you'll make more mistakes before it's all over. Just chalk it up to a lesson learned.:peace:

    Plants wilting

The heat probably isn't helping, ideally you want to aim for around 76 degrees - but what you're describing is perfectly normal. When the plants "wake up" at the beginning of their light cycle, or soon into it, they start out pretty perky - just like us. But as the day winds down towards...

NO! my baby drooped over(pics included)

Looks overwatered, gotta let 'em dry out between waterings. Make sure you have drainage in the bottom of the cup, also. Let them dry - they'll perk back up.

Flowering, how long before sex is noticable

Nice looking plants. Hard to tell from the pics, but are you useing the same bulbs you vegged with? Flowering plants like more of the red spectrum, in the 2700 - 3000k range. If you haven't changed them, it is probably that, and being sativa dominant, that's making it take so long. You'll also...

    Greetings,questions.

Ok - first off, how long it takes to get a sprout depends on if you germinate the seed, before you plant it. If you do, you should see a sprout within 48 hours or so. If not, around 4-5 days. When you transplant it is dependant on the size of your starting pot, and how fast it takes up the...
