Thanks! Is that adapter a Lumatek product or something I might find at a harware store? What would it be called? (I don't want to be asked what it's for)

The one on the left is a Daystar AC reflector cord and on the right the Lumatek ballast. Both are Hydrofarm products, I expected them to match. Is this the wrong cordset or is there an adaptor or what? I've used several hoods and several ballasts and never seen this. Thanks for any input!

Here's a hint: There is no point calibrating to 4, only to 7. And, you can use distilled water which is 7.0 both for calibration and storage.

Unless you are ordering 500 seeds, they have far bigger fish to fry and don't care a whit about you. Just buy seeds from attitude or nirvana like you would buy anything else and don't worry about it. It's what you do and don't do after you have the seeds that will determine your security.

I'm assuming that when they say 500w that is under ideal conditions so you will never really see it. I doubt that a 500w panel will do it. I also can't imagine it being cost-effective. Why not just plug it in? ps 400w isn't nearly enough for an 8x8 grow space.
