With sufficient bubble action, you don't need either of those.

All the airflow in the world is only going to circulate air that is already to hot for your plants. You need to add AC until you get the ambient temp down to where the temps under the lights are acceptable. When you have some cool air to circulate, THEN fans might help.

I suggest 3 or 4 42 watt cfls (cheaper per watt I think) and hang them with cheap trouble lights with the plastic bulb guard removed. You could do 3 of them for under $40.

You definitely want to check the trichs in several locations. I would harvest at the first sign of amber trichs. I'll bet that's no more than a week. What strain is that?

A common res can be convenient, but another advantage of separate containers is you can have different strains and different age plants, all being fed on a different schedule.

Determining average yield per plant is easy. Just take all the plants that have ever been grown in human history, and divide that number into the total yield from all of them.
