IDK man, give it another year or two for the panels to keep improving and price to come down then something like that could be possible. I'm not saying anyone will do it or that if they try to they'll be successful, but I can see the potential for it in the future.

They should be able to flex a bit more each day. Just take a bit of twine and loop it over a stem and tape it to the bin. That way you can tighten it little by little and avoid breaking any branches. I'd be careful using other growth to hold it down, don't wanna accidently slingshot half a plant...

It's all good, definitely let me know how those CFLs work out for you. One of them on each side of the light would almost certainly help balance the spectrum and get a bit more light to my side ones now that I've moved everything around.

Update: Had to move the plants out of the cab since my new light is coming in this week and will go in there. The light and plants fit decently in my aquarium stand, but think I'm gonna pull out the two in 6" pots since it only effectively lights 4 in the new area. The width is only about 11"...

I like that idea man, just be careful which ones you get. I read somewhere that a lot of the cheaper ones don't do anything for odor during flowering. Also, what are your thoughts on ONA man? I've heard that it has to be kept away from the plants but don't really get why or even if it's true?

I haven't seen any LED grows along those lines but that would be really impressive. There are a couple really good perpetual grows around though that use LEDs.

It really depends on how you're currently using the lights man. Some people don't use their lights to their fullest potential bc of their setup and could pull the same amount from a smaller fixture. Can you get up a couple of pics or a quick description of what your setup looks like right now?

Really depends on how big those plants are, if the footprint of two lights covers all the plants you should be fine. If you need to keep three lights running to cover everything you could consider switching one or two of the 1000s for 600s. You'd save a lot on power even just switching one, and...

If you're worried about height just start bending them over now man. If you crisscross the canopy evenly it shouldn't negatively impact anything and will save you some precious space.
