NO. the medium, hydro/soil/soiless/dwc whatever, is just a way of getting nutrients to the roots, thats all it does. lights allow the plant to grow, more lights might speed up growing, correct temp and humidity will help the plant grow to its full potential

they are refering to indoor, any medium, but remember the first two weeks of 12/12 arnt considered flowering, more a transition period. so 55-60 days might mean 55-60+14 of 12/12.. unless its an auto strain your looking at
