Ok ive made some major changes to my home made hood as i was advised it was wasting a lot of light, the first pictures are before i adjusted it and the last one is the adjustment i have made, which im sure will be alot more effective in spreading the light. Thanks scranny man :)

Got my pH meter today and pH is 6.8, upon looking at my plant there is a slight improvement in the "spider like drooping leafs" so good advice on the underwatering, i think i have the problem in hand now, thanks alot dell +1 rep

hey mine are 2 week in and are very compact only about 3-4 inch tall ive had the cfl's 1 inch away all the way through, hence no streching and just compact nodes, so if you keep the cfl's as close you could easyily veg in there for over a month good luck fellow shoebox grower :P

Yea i have 2 stainless steel beer kegs in my back yard, and i was thinking of chopping 1 down the middle and using one of them, prob will at some point as they are shiny silver so would prob work well, just not sure on the weight
