Cut the new growth off and all im left with is a brown stump and the usual 2 stems that grow out above the original nodes, anyone got any ideas why it hasn't sproted 2 new stems? tia

Have got got a ocilating fan in there to move the air arround and thicken the stems up? also what is that your using on the walls? im not 100% but that stuff looks like it may act like tinfoil, and cause hotspots, im not 100% tho wait for other peoples input, but appart from that it looks good...

well i don't know nothing about hps lighting systems, when you the whole kit do you mean the bulb and the reflector? i can make my own reflector so i prob just need the bulb and the bulb fitting, or is there more involved? also im using soil

this is just to bring fresh air in right? if so if you board the window off and make sure all the gaps are sealed arround the edges of the boardthe ducting can go in the iner side of the blind (not on show) and as long as your window is very slightly open it will pull the air in

have you thought of putting a blind up, open the window a tiny bit then board the window off and cut holes for your fan to fit into the board? just a thought

after looking at how you have constructed your grow box, it would prob be best to put something under the tray to raise it 2" below the lights

Well i started off with 1 plant from bagseed which started life off on my kitchen windowsill, so im still learning, but once i am done with this plant, im definatley gonna look into an hps setup. Thanks for input
