Yea, i think it will be ok, and the best bit if i do this to all my 4 hanging bulbs i wont get blinded when i sit in my grow room, and also it gives me a reason to buy a takeaway tonight :)

Yea me too, but when i put my hand infront of it its does feel a lot better, ive got faceing 1 bud site on my plant, im just gonna leave it and see what it does, i'll post the results in a few days, hope it works :)

Ive got a few cfl's hanging arround my plant, and i want to maximise the light given off by them, so i came up with this simple way to reflect 1 cfl, was just wondering if it would act like tinfoil and create hotspots or if it would work, as anyone tried this? TIA

No, these are ok just not alot of wattage, i know what u mean tho, the spiral ones are alot better. the heat in this thread is coming from the cfl's almost touching the top of my hood

I cut it with this, would of rather done it with an angle grinder, and i made a kyte/diamond template to mark out the corners, was quite easy its the punching holes and wiring thats the pain in the ass

Yea man they look something like this, but there are better ones with more wattage that cost a little more, like a corkscrew shape, thats what im upgrading to once my main plant is done

Ha Ha thats funny, were telling you to use cfl's which are nothing like fancy, and you say ur using a hps system, sorry im laughing here good luck man

compact floresent light, you will find em in most stores, they are energy saving bulbs

nah thats why most people use em for first grows, cos they are cheap to buy and cheap on the electricity.

definatley, if the frost is coming have you any other choice? get some cfl's and she will be fine

there is your problem right there... 7 week old 3 week into flowering and you got em under 1 cfl, seriously man if that was a 1000 watt cfl im sure you would still have probs, you need more cfls... at this stage you should atleat have a few above and a few arround em, and you got 2 plants, look...

best way to learn is jump out of the theory side and jump in to the practicle side, and it looks like you already done that, just stick with this site (the best resorce i have found) and carry on with what you have got and goodluck with it
