I have, for a long time, used 1/3 cup of ordinary h202 3% in a res with 6 gal of water every day. I know it does no harm, it costs 99 cents for 12 days worth, and I see no reason to stop. I've never had a root problem. I grow northern lights.

I have a Lumatek 400 dimmable with an ordinary batwing hood unit. I'm very pleased with it, I paid a total of $220. It produces much less heat than I feared but I have the option to dim it to 250w if I want. I think you do want a reflector of some kind.

I got tired of the stretched plants from them. I would often have to raise then 4 inches every day to keep plants from growing right into them and burning. Finally went to hps and just don't grow in summer because of heat. I get more now from 3 grows with hps than I ever did in 4 grows with T5s.

50 is still ok, under that is not so good. I use a humidity dome which is the clear plastic lid off those foil baking/roasting pans. You can spray the inside of it often for even more humidity.

I see no difference why it would matter. Looking at it from the plant's point of view - what does it gain from producing more THC right before dying? I think it's best to follow the 12/12 cycle and closely monitor trich development and harvest at the right point. I doubt you can improve on that...

I don't feel like buying an MH bulb for veg. But I have some T5s and a 90w led I could use for veg. So would you use those or the hps? I don't want them getting stretchy but I also don't want to burn them with hps.

I used to use t5s to flower and used all 3000k. I couldn't get away from stretched plants and small buds. The penetration sucks. I went to hps and did not have the heat problems I used to have. I'll still use t5 for veg.
