I grew my seedlings and early vegging plants under a T5 light and it worked great. You can keep it very close to the plants as there is very little heat. I think it will work great for the first month or so, but you will need a HPS for flowering.. Peace!

I have been giving my plants a light misting especially underneath the leaves to give them a little hydration as well as keeping the pests away. I am starting the flowering period and wondered if I should stop this as some popcorn buds are just starting to form? Thanks.

nas, I'm not sure but I think you will need the ballast due to the power requirements of the 250 Watt light. Let's see what others say. Smitty

Hey Nas, Good luck on your grow. Do as much research on this site as possible and you will find a lot of excellent information and helpful people! Your light looks good for the vegatative part of the grow based on the 6400K spectrum you note. That will take you through at least the first month...
