Well, I'm still a newb myself, just a month into my second grow, but I start on early Veg nute regimen by week 3. This time I actually started sooner because the roots were growing so fast! But I use clonex for the first couple of weeks.

I just topped my plants today. I used the cuttings from my 2 best plants as clones. If you want to clone anyway, might as well do it at the same time!

Do you spray your plants? If so, maybe you got nute burn, haha. Seriously, it could be a reaction to the nutes if you spray them.

He got them because I'd been sick. I think my son picked them out. I should be buying HIM flowers for doing everything while I was sick! He even kept my plants alive, topping my reseviors and humidifier every day. I plan to grow through the Summer, too. And yeah, the heat concerns me!

Yeah, my stepdad said he didn't start getting allergies til mid thirties, so. Also, my Hubby brought me a bunch of flowers earlier this week and it may be those I'm reacting to. Usually, he just buys roses, but these are mixed flowers some daisies, and wild flowers. Who knows! I'll gladly sneeze...

It was definitely a male! I grew Chocolate Rains my last grow and they aren't fem seeds, so I learned all about identifying plant sex then!

I got my seeds from Attitude. They were Short Stuff seeds. I got them through pick and mix. I have since started buying packs instead, but I have lots of seeds that I only have 1 or 2 of them and all of those are fem seeds.

I am currently growing a BCN Diesel Auto and an Mi5 Auto. I had 2 Onyx going as well, but one I accidentally killed and the other was male. They were fem seeds and it wasn't just hermied, it was all male. Anyone else have this happen?

I did have a male plant, but I yanked him right away. Sucks, because it was one of my Autos that was supposed to be fem. Now I only have 2 Autos to last me while my photo girls are flowering! I never really had allergies much before, so I'm not sure. It could just be hay fever, maybe the pollen...

So, I noticed during my first grow that right around the time my plants started to flower I thought I had a cold. But it didn't go away, so I know it was an allergy. Now, one of my Autos is in flower and here I am stuffy and sneezing again! Guess I better stock up on allergy meds!

For my first grow, I used CFLs all the way through. My yield was only about half an oz per plant. This time around, I'm only using CFLs for Veg and as a supplemental lighting source for Flower. I bought a 400 watt HPS for my Flower area this time, plus I have my 125 Watt CFL for flowering...

Thanks. My first harvest was pretty pitiful. This time I'm using the Lucas Formula for FloraNova Bloom, ZHO, Synergy and B-52 for Veg. I also have Bud Blood and Big Bud for Flowering. Seems to be working! Also, cal/mag plus.
