Just put the fan on em... the movement of the plant will thicken the stems.. I gotta do that to a coupla my seedlings in thenext few days.. you can bend them slightly ever so softly with your fingers that will work too.. just dont be over zealous...

2 cfls will work but its not really nearly enough light for decent results. Ive got good results with a minmum of 4 42w cfls with DIY reflectors.. But i generally use more...ie 5 cfls for sides and 3x 42w cfl floodlight for canopy..works good for me. you could go with cfl for the first coupla...
