I say stone but there only small pebbles. Problem ive notice with this compost is it takes ages to dry out, i havent watered them for 4 days and the meter still shows half way. no idea whats in the compost, there no npk on it or anything. I used about 2/3 compost and the rest was stones and perlite

yes try it. if thats a red bulb thats for flowering. u want a blue light for vegative growth not sure if you were aware of that or not

That would be the ultimate cheapest way. I only grow indoors, know nothing about out door growing and normal soil. Good luck with your solo seed

i got no idea on that mate. you need to find yourself an electrician friend, i wouldnt try something like that myself

cheapest is cfl's. I'd reccommend a 125watt eco bulb if u wanna keep it cheap. remember it might not even grow so dont put much money into it. if chances are your gonna get cought dont do it haha

I cant see how you could make that horizontal without tying something around the end of the bulb and stringing it up with would be abit risky. I dont really understand you. I think you should just buy a hanger/reflector with an E40 socket in it then hang that from the top of your grow room with wire or string.

I use exactly the same lights but you'll probably need more than one. I have mine in reflectors that come with the E40 lampholder, no wiring just screw it in and hang it up. Or you can just buy a E40 socket with cable attached and just hang, that would be vertical though. I would never mess...

I dont understand everyones comments to flush the plant when i havent used any fert. Maybe it is the lights there less than 2" from the top of the plant, didnt think they were powerful enough to do that. The only venting they get is me opening and closing the doors when i check them around 3 - 4...
