You can grab a 50 dollar Intermatic timer and just wire a dryer cord onto it, and some 240v outlets... Then all the lights will be on the 240v and you use what 120 you have for the pumps, heaters, fans etc.....

I would buy some 4" fittings, and run some hard tube through the ceiling and use the 4" flanges on the ceiling and attic side....... Then you hook your flex ducting up to the flanges/ fans.....

It sounds like its wired for 240v, not worth using if its only a 70w..... Not sure what kind of light it is, but probably nothing ideal from the looks..... Id put it in a box and save for the future.....

Brief Follow up: Ended up adding an 8" fan, and running 8" duct to the first light, and then 6" duct between the lights. I put the 6" fan blowing through the hoods.... I think it should all work well.....

People have lost arms from 1/2" drills..... I got one with handles on both side you can run like a jack hammer, and another handle on the back for certain situations....
