that i agree with, light is either too far or not enough. as for my perlite ventures, my dirt is 50% perlite. 100% perlite shows no improvement and is much more prone to fungus gnat infestation. my best results are in aero with no medium and unrestricted root growth, seconded by dwc, same deal.

that's not true. perlite in cups with a drain pan is no different than soil in a drain pan. both will wick water, and soil creates a stronger root mass. my yields were the same for dirt and perlite. the hempy buckets i've run before were laughable at best, looked just like dirt. but my point...

also, organic nutes don't magically make buds taste better. that's bogus. plants genetically have a smell/flavor. IRON helps promote and increase smell and flavor, but it doesn't change it. and my buds have always beaten organics in blind taste tests. so cyproz, don't spout off at the lips...
