The hortilux eye bulbs are not digital ballast matched so they tend to have short life due to the frequency of the digital ballast. Get bulbs matched to digital ballasts like Pulsar, Plantmax,Lumatek, or digitlux.

Glad it worked out for you. I know personally in 3 years trying their stuff I went through 20 plus bulbs 4 ballasts, got 4 shattered cool tubes, had 3 mogul sockets go bad and 2 water pumps die in under 3 months use. I stopped as it was getting hard to get any reply from the owner for replacement.

With such a small amount of light co2 really wont do much for you. Your using a minimal of low grade lighting so no real co2 advantage. You do need to figure out air exchanges though as you will need to exhaust and then fill with fresh air from outside the room. This will help your plants yields...

Its nutrient burn. You need to get the ph down in the soil to around 6.8-7 You may need to heavy flush it a few times to get any build up out to unlock the plant fully. test your water in and water out. If the drainage is higher then whats going in you have your answer.

Not sure who or where you were told to plant it upside down as tap root down has always been the way. I can see in the pic it was barely covered up The entire tape root should be covered then the top of the sprout under one quarter to one half inch soil with light right on top of it.
