depends on the person really. Me i like using CFLs for the first 2 weeks before I move them under my 400watter then you have like what another person said above they just put it under just with distance.

Well when I did my hash I used half fresh and the other half were dry but not to the dry that it has that crispy feel. so hop ethat helps
