    Hermie Seeds

^^^ i believe self pistillate refers to the 'male hermie', this is part of breeding lore DJ Short has a famous post about the fertile male hermie that is supposed to bring excellent offspring i have had a few of these, male hermies, but the fertile male hermie is supposed to be quite rare

    A Mandala summer

i'm tuned in, kind of a Mandala lurker, still working other genetics but if i was buying seeds with what i know now, Mandala would probably be at the top of the list looking forward to great grow, good luck!

    Hermie Seeds

what got me going down the 'hermie road' was this one poster who raved about hermie seeds, he loved them he'd plant bunch of hermie seeds, toss what he didn't like the looks of claimed he got great results compared to reg seeds can't verify this, but my small results don't contradict his post...

    Backwards Hermaphrodite

i've had similar experiences, it's not super rare, seen 2 of these beasts, one had a tiny female cola at the tip many strange things this plant can do

Why are dj short genetics so expensive?

moldybologna - i've only used a few, though Nirvana is actually a bunch of breeders, but i got gear from Nirvana that matched their descriptions also have used highgrade seeds, also good descriptions i don't look for the most potent, just shopping for stuff that tame my anxiety it can be a lot...

Why are dj short genetics so expensive?

wow! this topic generated a lot of interest i'm sure the OP understands why the prices are high, because seed banks are getting their asking price, if peeps will pay, they will continue with those prices and if not mentioned, this is not what the breeder gets, it's what the bank gets obscene...

    Hermie Seeds

i've been experimenting with some hermie seeds, liked the parent, at least as much as you could like a hermie grown out 3 so far 4th in progress, results mostly good, 2 out of 3 were fine, the other had the hermie trait, didn't like that one too much

Call me paranoid or alert but PLEASE CALL IT!!! Saw something very alarming today PIX

always go with your own best judgement, but for what it's worth, here's my cut on it police aren't stupid, a slow motion copter sweep like that is overkill, and expensive from the sounds of it, it would be easy(and very cheap) to setup a FLIR camera on/in an adjacent building and scope down to...

    Good low odor indoor strain?

what KuLong said, pheno's can fuck you some strains may be consistent, but most seem to vary from plant to plant #1 - get your temps down as low as possible, keep it down to low 70's and smell will much less

    'The Inside Man' Grow box

nice diagram, very clear for the setup never did any attic growing, temps tend to be the enemy there, at least in summer but the LED/CFL mix should be pretty good, a cfl micro grower myself so can't comment too much on LED's my 1st inside grow was nl#5, good choice for a 1st grow, NL takes to...

    Defeating the K-9's

i have seen some mention of a article/book called 'never get busted again', or some such thing same idea, overwhelm the dog, so this idea has been around if it was just the dog, that would probably make sense, but i have to think if the dog starts going wild he's off the case then LEO does his...

A Fool and a Hermie Seed

after a growing pause, had other shit going on, time for another run of this seed line a quick summary, seeds from a hermie brainwreck, was quite nice except for the hermie trait 3 runs so far, #1 primo but smaller yields, no hermie trait #2, had hermie trait and was foul beyond belief on every...

    Defeating the K-9's

dogs supposedly can detect odors that are measured in tiny amounts unless your chamber is hermetically sealed, and has some negative pressure system for when you go in to garden, it's going to leak out some odor, if only briefly and those odors will cling to to the floor/furniture/wall...

Anyone Use Power Inverters & Solar Panels?

i done a little thinking on this, seems only practical for small setups good PV is about 20% efficient, so we're talking about 5 square feet of PV for every square foot of grow space so a 5 x 5 room with 1 KW hps bulb, should need at least a 10 x 12 PV and that's just for growing, nothing else...

    Defeating the K-9's

look at it this way, if there's a K-9 in your house, they had a warrant if they had a warrant, this will not be a 'gee, this is getting too hard' they're not leaving until they get what they want, a warrant that comes up empty does not look good in LEO circles i have thought about this myself...

    Planned Gorilla Grow...

can't fail with that outlook, it will all be gravy at the end of the season the northeast can be a heart breaker when you get the wet crappy weather in september/october getting the strong finish is tough, if i was to go back to outdoor in NY i'd consider auto's, anything to finish up by september

    Planned Gorilla Grow...

i'm in the great northeast, used to do the outside grows but more of an inside grower these days i never did clones outside, just seed, but have watched other growers use clones without premature flowering i don't think you'll have a problem from that, it's all about the weather in these parts

    Bonemeal Tea?

been brewing bone meal tea for 3 or so years use the MG organic bone meal, 6-9-0, love the nitrogen in there, with the molasses for potassium, the tea has it all but it dose take patience, a month of brewing seems to do a nice job a funky odor goes with he territory, that's funky for a properly...

    Trichomes, clear or cloudy?

went through a similar experience, amber just wouldn't happen trics just became a clear honey color, drove me nuts eventually, i did find some others who have seen the same, you never know what a quirky strain might show

Im averaging about .35 GPW. What about you? Tips, Tricks....

^^^ what adower said, there's more layers to the onion here if that's cfl's, that's not a bad yield, if HPS, improvement seems possible
