    Should I help the sprout?

hold the fuck up. i'm competition for the people YOU buy seeds from! i've been growing for over 20 years, and hundreds more plant varieties than pot! however, since you guys seem to know everything about nothing, i guess i better lend a hand to those in need less people liek you put them on the...

    Should I help the sprout?

actually, there's one more step involved. the cotyledons (bean leaves) will have a membrane over them, preventing them from opening easily. you need to remove the husks, then gently rub the back of the cotyledons and the leaves will open right up, the plant will start growing. if the membrane...

    Should I help the sprout?

ditto; it can actually die if it DOESN'T shed the helmet. use tweezers or forceps to crack and remove it (gently, or you'll snap the stem). i do have experience, and i'm telling you that you should. :p

    ohhhh noo...stupid me

poor kid, and no one with a clue to help you :(. sounds like you cooked/drowned them, either or a combination. you have to wear kid gloves with seeds and seedlings, until they get established. i've been where you are now, with more than 100 seeds/seedlings at a time, so my condolences go out...

    bubbleponic noob plants skinny lightclose

yep, that's what a lot of people do; the stem under the cotyledons will eventually sprout roots as well.

your light isn't too far away, and the "stretch" in this case is nothing more than a tap root hitting obstructions (hydroton). this is normal for most, and doesn't mean you screwed up. the stems will thicken, the plants will stand. watch for nodal spacing, as that tells you whether the plants...

    soil question

most soil buffers, meaning you don't have to alter ph; the dirt will do that for you. be wary of peat based soils which have a low 5-5.5 ph.

Is 380g wet weight from 2 plants a respectable yield??

not if you're growing different strains. why not wait one more week and get a real weight? ever heard the saying don't count your chickens before they hatch? you shouldn't weigh your buds until they're dry :p. handling the wet buds destroys some of that precious resin you know...

Is 380g wet weight from 2 plants a respectable yield??

wet weight is hit or miss, as some lose much more weight than others. always figure your totals after buds are dried to the bone.

need help asap!!! anybody thats knows cloning

right, that's my point; propagation by cuttings is a normal thing for real gardeners. pot is actually one of the easiest plants out there to try and root. try rooting an astrophytum or lophophora... it all boils down to patience.

Tips On How To Trim Bud When Harvesting?

take the large fans, and pull them backward from the nodes, they'll snap off (no scissors required). after all fans are removed, hold the bud upside down, and trim from the cola upward, so leaves fall and don't get stuck on the bud. trim flush with flowers, then shake (to remove cut and stuck...

need help asap!!! anybody thats knows cloning

lol. geez...... clones are so incredibly simple it's sad that people are led to believe it's a difficult process.... snip, clip, dip, and stick, no misting, domes usually aren't needed, no cutting underwater or any of that bullshit. just clip (the branch), snip (the nodes), dip (in rootone)...

question about buying single 150 w hps bulbs

that's a really good way to ensure you have major problems in flower. pot does not like super phosphates. at first, you'll think "o shit, they love it!" two weeks later, after the p tox, your ph drops, you get burns and deficiencies at the same time. no super p's. a proper flower ratio for pot...
