    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

my most potent strain is either the LSD or Tahoe OG, though the Sour OG and the Sour Diesel are also both very strong.

    Jerry's Winter Organic Garden

Hello friends! I've been taking a break from the cultivating scene for the last 6 months or so, but am happy to announce a brief return with my Winter Organic Garden. I love growing during the winter, as it brings out just the most beautiful colors and produces the best buds of any growing...

All the phenos of the SHJ turned out real nice SkunkMunkie! This strain will be in the first group when I restart things down the line. Your pics make me glad I used a SHJ male in my crosses!

    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

I've only used Green Light rooting powder (from the hardware store) and Clonex Gel (which I prefer). I've never used BMO to clone with, though I'm sure it would work. You don't really need anything other than high humidity (I use a dome) and a constant, diffuse source of light. When I clone, I...

    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

Yesterday I harvested the remaining two plants, Grape Stomper x OG #2 and the Deadhead OG. Both could have used another week, but time constraints dictated otherwise. Still, both completed 72 days of 12/12, so it's not as if they are premature, but given the option I would have let them go a bit...

    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

Well friends, I harvested the first Grape Stomper x OG yesterday @ 68 days 12/12. Could have gone a little longer but time constraints require I harvest everyone over the next week, and she was first in line. Here are a couple shots pre-chop: The remaining GSxOG and Deadhead OG...

I'm not sure how different the Afghan Kush Special is vs. the Afghan Kush Landrace...I thought the "Special" line was all genetically modified somehow, but I haven't looked into World of Seeds for a while.

    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

Haven't used it myself, but it's a good source of K. From what I understand it releases pretty slowly, which is why I've not used it yet.

    Best Organic Spider Mite Killer?

PyGanic 1.4 ec. http://www.mgk.com/Crop-Protection/PyGanic_1_4.aspx Expensive, but the best ORGANIC miticide. Works well in combination with neem oil. Kills on contact. This stuff took care of my outdoor mites as well as those that made their way inside. Used once and haven't seen then since.

Why Do Some Seeds Not Come Up!

I think problems arise with planting directly in the medium because people bury the seed too deep. They only need to be 1/4 inch deep, which is basically barely covered with medium. To each their own, but I never lose a viable seed this way, and the seed sprouts faster because the taproot...

    Jerry's Perpetually Organic Garden

I put a layer of sand on top of my medium to help keep bugs away, particularly fungus gnats. This year though I've discovered the sand controls the rate of percolation, allowing me to water very quickly without the liquid running down the outside of the soil mass. When I move my plants to water...

Why Do Some Seeds Not Come Up!

Soaking old seeds can be beneficial as they tend to become dessicated with age, but if you buy seeds from a breeder they should be plenty viable on their own. Any method of germinating other than planting directly in the medium increases risk of damage to delicate root hairs and should be avoided.

    My Soil Pics

Perlite is good. Too much perlite reduces the volume of media the plant can use and will require more frequent waterings. Find the right balance for you and your strain.

Death Cab For Cutie. If Your Intoxicated Whatsoever Listen

Ben Gibbard is the best songwriter of our time. I love Death Cab. Soul Meets Body is not the best representation of their work in my opinion. They have been around for a long time, have developed and matured as a band and continue to put out original, creative music. Just saw them in DC, going...

DESPERATE FOR HELP!!! bad tasting weed

2 weeks of drying is probably the biggest concern. The point of curing is to slowly release moisture, drying the bud at a super slow pace (weeks) and allowing for gradual decarboxylation, bringing out the flavor of the strain while also improving potency. By letting the buds dry for 2 weeks you...
