that depends; if you want to veg 30 plants quickly, go hps. if you want to veg one plant slowly, use cfl's. cfl's suk for growing applications ;)

not always; it depends on how well it was grown... :). some taste good from first dry. small room with a dehumidifier works; if it's a small plant, you can lay buds over the vents on your pc monitor (takes 12-24 hours the pc way).

kudos from chi-town! purple haze is real, it's a purple pheno haze (ANY purple pheno haze) from old haze lines (like my 1973 seed grown haze used to make the purple haze cross). yes, it does turn colors, and no, seeds are not available, so please don't ask. :)

you're only halfway there if that far. the plants will gain the most weight in the last two weeks before harvest. don't worry too much; they'll get bigger ;)

uptake for soil and soiless are different. 7 for dirt, 6 for hydro, 6.5 for coco or other organic soilless mediums. consult the charts; the one chart does not accurately represent both soil and hydro growing.

it still loses it's ability to lower ph very quickly :p. and why? i've had bad soild before, but i've never deliberately adjusted the ph of nute water for dirt. dirt buffers anyway (this is why most soil starts out around 5.5-6.5 ph, peat is acidic, and buffers nutes to low ph). i find miracle...

purple haze originally wasn't a pot strain, you guys know that right? there are many purple hazes now. ask fdd about that gangly 8' haze he grew a couple years ago.... ;)

7 is perfect for dirt, so no lemon juice, and don't use lemon juice anyway; it only lasts for a few hours... :p
