    fibre glass insulation and rockwool

i do recall a thread at this part of the world where there were some visiting growers with the same problem can't recall the specifics but it is possible to get the soil you need, just not an easy thing, i'll see if i can't dig up some specifics as far as fiberglass, you'd think that might be a...

High Grade Seeds-------all smiles with delivery :-

cloning can be a mysterious process at times, hard to say what has made the difference from my limited experience, less light is usually better, so having the bulb closer was a red flag, but overall it doesn't sound like you've increased light but the fading color reminds me of cloning's #1...

What to do? Small grow area

cfl's are designed to fail safely, forget how they're rigged, but most will just stop working if their internals get mucked up

What to do? Small grow area

that's a serious deal, i seem to remember something about electronic timers and cfl's, but it's kind of hazy there are the older style mechanical contact timers, which is what i use, may not be a help here you could just throw the switch by hand, but that may not be practical for the long term

What to do? Small grow area

if 1 smells bad, i'd be scared to keep running it, cfl's do fail, sometimes in a bad way though i've never had it happen

What to do? Small grow area

i'd guess it's one of the bulbs, if you have a spare you could swap out 1 at a time and see if it goes away

has any1 tried doff bonemeal b4?

bone meal is an excellent addition to your soil, usually used as part of the soil mix some have quite different nutrient levels, or at least say so on their labelling, MG Organic Bone Meal lists its as 6-9-0

    CFL's and Their Lifespan

it varies somewhat from brand to brand, some hold their intensities better than others i will admit to using some home depot 5500k's for 3 years for my veggings i only veg for 3 weeks usually, so they don't get the use the 2700k's get but they seem to veg a plant as good as they did 3 years ago...

definitely agree, depends on how badly someone wants those genetics if you have enough money and patience, you'll probably find something close or maybe even spot on

    William (Willie) Wonder

i do see a few of those type of re-bred seeds, they might give the genuine experience as i understand usual breeding practices, most original stock seeds would be produced from some specific mother/father - revegged/propagated until their demise, which unfortunately happens too often so what you...

What to do? Small grow area

i've done several revegs, at least 2 weeks most times, maybe a bit more, at 3 weeks growth should be going strong

    Seriously...what is the best seedbank?

there seems to have been some crappy changes with cards and international orders, card's that worked last year suddenly don't now new laws have changed things, at least for the anonymous type cards

degrees kelvin for cfls (2700k,6500k,5000k etc.) one quick question

i use 5500k for vegging, which do work great for veg, but the higher ones - 6400k or so are supposedly even better when you do 2700k, you're doing a bit 'better' than the sun, more red, better flower you could stick with 5500k, but supposedly that will give you less bud

What to do? Small grow area

it's not so common for a dome with a seedling, 30% humidity should be fine
