nanners will usually have pollen, i've plucked them and got mostly seedless bud some roosters throw pollen quick, some slower, misting with a bit of water can help a lot, wet pollen dies fast water can be a mold hazard, but with these thin buds probably not a problem

they are cheap, so replacing is easy to do i will admit to running cfl's to the extreme, i'm still using the 5500k's i bought 3 years ago the veg's still look good, i do change out the 2700k's more often, maybe every 3-4 flowers

number 1 on smell is temperatures, high temperatures in your grow area, and you will get lots of odor low temps aren't a guarantee of low odor, but they're a start
