also the company that sales the "ICE BOX" makes a cover for hoods that keeps thermal heat in the hood to help ex more hot air....useing out side air works great cause then you can run your co2 without wasteing it..

yeah man i really whould rethink this, and dont use that fan u need more cfms, 400+. maybe more because ur outside.

u should just use what u can handle, if u cant light up all of the room with the right amount of light then go smaller..cause ur going to need atlest 6 X 1000watts to cover the 12 x 8 area...why not run 2 1000s on a 4x8 footprint 1st and go from there?...MEANGREEN.

yeah you whould have to make it light proof forsure, that hood should have vents (holes) on two sides,cut a hole on two sides of the shed, use ducting from one hole to the hood then ducting from the hood out to the other hole leading outside.. ya dig?..you dont want any of that heat in ur room..

i run the DR150 with a 1000watt,340cfm pulling through the hood..temps stay around 85F ,and im in VEGAS...those fans should do the trick,good luck..MENGREEN.

growing in a shed is going to be hard as far as heat goes,you can run lights at night,but that has it own probs outside..if you can have a ex fan just for the light,sucking air from outside into your hood(cooling the light) then hot air back outside, then use aother fan up high in the shed...
