i see a lot of failure stories with the shampoos, sometimes they pass but you wonder if that's just a bad tester/lab i think they've changed the process, used to be they wouldn't wash the hair sample, then got wise to the adulterants in the shampoos

you can pluck balls, it might work, but it's quite an investment in time catching all the balls is not easy, i have done it and you can limit the damage, at least some of the time if you get the plant so your looking up, you will see balls that are hidden otherwise

LST and cfl's get along pretty nicely, LST is often used to tie the plant around the edge of the pot, grows in a spiral pattern very good for low space/small setup situations
