one more thought here on what constitutes a small grow, 5 x 5 is not small(by my perspective), but it's a matter of opinion a well done 5 x 5 can bring in 2 lbs of dry buds(this can vary of course), so i guess your target for harvest weight should be a consideration

the usual advice for a 5 x 5 space is a 1000 watt hps, a very common setup not sure what the size MH for a veg area, but it is possible to do a good veg with just hps(if you're cost driven)

when talking 5 x 5 areas, the most cost effective solution is HID by quite a lot i use cfl's in a small space, and they work great there, but it will cost you to do 5 x 5 in cfl's(and would be worse for led's) fluorescent tubes would be more cost effective in the large spaces, but not sure they...

that's my understanding - an african landrace sativa - supposed to have a short finishing time, which isn't common for most sativa types

insect repellents is a topic in itself, very involved probably the worst thing you could bring in would be spider mites, i know, i did not fun to get rid of

i have seen others do this, so it can work i will point out 1 danger - bugs - the inside of your house is usually bug free, you could bring in some unwelcome guests so judgement call, depends on your outside setting, and what insects you have around

i did see a bit of canoeing on some leaves, which mean too warm, plants still look pretty good

pretty nice, seeing a touch of burn on the leaf edges? maybe a little too much feed

i did have a hermie one grow back, my 1st, possible the short veg could have been an influence all grows been 3 week veg, grow chamber size is small, haven't tried topping or supercropping, have done a few LST's though

no problem, that's why we on the site, to swap info it was big, but pics can be tough to judge size - 2 gallon pot, no training at all - got 1.5 zips, but lost a bit of bud to mold(one nice bud was black rot inside)

always glad to show the fruits of labor, though pic isn't the best this was the best result i've had, 29 inches tall, and outside of grow chamber(nl#5)

3 weeks is my typical veg - i get about 5 inches/5 nodes plants finish under 2 1/2 feet(so far), yields from about 1 oz to 1 1/2 oz(if all goes well) that's under 78w of cfl's, which are micro grows

that's a rough deal, that size would be a bitch to find

can't provide too much feedback on where these originated(by appearance) if it's a mystery pack, could be anywhere, and there is huge variety, that i do know the one compact one is interesting, same light intensity for all of them? that looks a bit more on the hybrid side

look pretty good, seem to be on the sativa side i think you're doing well, how much more stretch i can't tell you but count on a good wait, that is the price of sativa's - some of them anyways

i grow with cfl's, but haven't tried any pure sativa's yet sativa's take their time, so your experience doesn't sound too unusual curious how this will turn out, subbed if you want to update the thread with pics

3 1/2 weeks of flower - the ball watch is still coming up empty stretch has become closer to parent, getting more on the sativa side(bud wise) overall, close to being a clone of original strain, but hermie free(knock wood)
