Win Original Sensible Seeds for free at The Vault!

I'd love to get my hands on this strain. Somebody has to win and I'd be very grateful to be the one.

Opinions on light for small space (32×32)

Are people still thinking led deficiency is a thing in 2020? It took me all of a month or so to figure out that 3 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit of extra ambient temp and all the 'deficiencies' went away... wow. So complicated.

    Rdwc- sterile vs bacterial

I ran a GH waterfarm that way once but not intentionally. Ran sterile through most of veg but I just couldn't keep my water temps quite where they needed to be and started to have root issues. It was recommended to me to switch over to beneficial. Changed out the res and used a combo of Great...

What is your yield with a single hlg 260?

Well this thread went to shit quickly. I guess thats what happens when you try to help.

What is your yield with a single hlg 260?

Even in a 2ftx2ft tent you can probably get more than that if the strain is right and you train the plants enough. I pull over 1g/watt with a hlg 260 in a 2x3 without even trying. Like i top once and do some very lazy lst and still pull 250+ grams. Willing to bet if you ran a your 260 over a...

Is This Light comparable to 1000w HPS

At 9w x 48 lights you're looking at ~430 watts with all of them running full power. Even the most efficient LED will have trouble matching the output of a 1000w hps and i doubt those are the peak of efficiency. You may end up with something equivalent to a 600w HPS if you're lucky, but again...

    Weak weed every time?

Agreed. Spent the first decade or so that i was growing without access to truly great genetics and was nearly always disappointed. Once i got my hands on some keepers it was night and day. I've got a Urkle x Tahoe cross that ive been running (and breeding with) lately that is basically my...

    Space for screen of green

I sometimes use netting or some form of screen as an aid in LST and cola support when not running scrog, but scrog is a very specialized process. I just think there are always a lot of new growers popping up that don't understand all the different training methods. They'll figure it out...

    Space for screen of green

What you are describing is sea of green, not screen of green. SOG is many single cola plants in a small area flipped to flower when they are young. SCROG (screen of green) is less plants that are highly trained through topping, LST, and the use of a screen.

    Space for screen of green

When I used to scrog in my 3x3 tent i did it with one plant in rDWC. The whole point of scrog is to use a screen and plant training to maximize the yield with a lower plant count. A true scrog with 10 plants would require a pretty massive space imo.

    The question

If you have enough light for the plants and the spectrum is somewhere in the PAR range it will grow plants. T5, cfl, HPS, LEC, CMH, LED, they will all grow plants. Which one is right for the individual depends largely on what they are working with and what their goals are. Looking for...

First grow, signs of stress, not sure how to proceed

I see possible signs of overwatering and maybe a bit of Nitrogen exess. The texture of the leaves and the fact that they seem to be drooping is what is making me think overwatering is in play, and the very dark green color would seem to indicate nitrogen excess. The leaf showing the most damage...

Heaviest bud you ever grew (dry)

I'd be interested if you guys get a thread going on this.. I'm considering blumats and coco for my next run and I definitely have some homework to do first. @ me if you guys get one started.

Heaviest bud you ever grew (dry)

I voted 1.5 oz. I had a pheno of papaya several years back that grew like wildfire and threw out massive colas in rDWC. Single plant in a modded waterfarm filled an entire 3x3 tent with minimal training (topped twice and light lst). Truly the most vigorous strain I've ever grown. The two...

    What did you accomplish today?

Have you ever tried GFF as a treatment rather than a preventive? I was away for 10 days and my wife was left in charge of watering the girls. Pretty sure I have some serious root issues going on. They are in week 5 of flower and I don't want to lose 3 months of work. Been growing for a long...
