Nute Additive for Xtra Sticky Buds

Lets put it like this. I have been active on the topics about root slime prevention, and most of the people taht came there with problems were people that were using aditives. Their problems would regularely go away once they stoped using aditives and kept using only inorganic nutrients and...

HELP! WHY IS PLAIN WATER SO HARD TO PH?

Actually no. Buffers work on the principle of chemical equilibrium. It is a principle that states that a process that is in equilibrium will react to the change of a system in a way that cancels that change. For example, if I put some salt AB in water, two chemical reactions will happen. Salt...

    best hydro-organic nutrient line?

And what are organics but chemicals?! In fact, most of the organic chemicals are transformed by microorganisms into the same inorganic chemicals that are contained in inroganic nutrient brands before they are consumed by the plant. edit: And yes, organics and hydro don't go well together...

HELP! WHY IS PLAIN WATER SO HARD TO PH?

One thing is, pH is a logarythmic scale, meaning it will take 10 times the amount it took to get from pH 7 to 6 to get from pH 6 to 5. Second thing is, plain water lacks buffers, mixtures of disolved salts that bind some of the acidity causing ions and prevent addition of acid from impacting...

I NEED HELP UNDERSTANDING THE INS AND OUTS OF DWC

Well, you take a clone or a seed, put it in a netpot with hydroton and let push its roots down into the bucket. Hydroton has to be kept wet untill roots reach the water level. Often water bubbles are enough to keep the medium moist enough (you can add extra water pump, but then be careful not to...

Most concentrated thc infused cooking oil possible

I have been baking cannabis edibles by heating 6g of good quality buds in 250 mL of oil at 98C (pot placed in boiling water) for 4 to 6 hours. That has worked well for me, but I was wondering how much more concentrated can I make my product (ie how much high quality bud can I cook in a volume of...

Anyone a fan of defoliation to increase yeild?

Yes, again, I understand that leaves work for the whole plant, but the question is, do they work for every part of the plant equaly efficiently. It is well known that branches that are shaded don't grow as strong and buds that are shaded don't grow as big. I don't know why you think it's...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

Bassman, don't add more sugar, you'll mess things up. I don't suspend EWC in anything. I crumble it into small particles and let it float in the res and get foam regularely. If your stones are slimy that means you have microorganisms doing their job in there. Perhaps your mixture just does...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

Go with the protocol, Wash off with water, let it soak in H2O2 overnight, wash again, pour freshly brewed tea over the roots (leting the residue fall in a bucket you'll be using), fill the bucket wth fresh RO water, let it bubble like that for a day, start adding nutes, add more tea every three...

    Molasses and DWC....Anyone Using Molasses????

You don't want any carbohydrates in DWC EVER. Plants don't take them in anyway. In soil they will feed benneficial bacteria that can in turn produce nutrients. In DWC any organics will cause bacterial overpopulation and massive problems.
