I had a few grows under my belt. Did decently with FFOF, roots, and one good run with a peat moss mix. But I am now on my third failed grow after swapping mediums and nutrients. I was using maxi gro and I've flipped over to dyna gro. I'm not sure what my issue is but my recent failures have...
Let me start by saying I am so fucking frustrated. If I have to toss another batch of plants, I'm done with this bullshit. After dealing with deficiency issues in early veg, which I have never had before, I find these little fucks on my plants today. Didn't see them when I watered 3 days ago...
Are you sure about that? My last plants that were small I did about 3mL per gallon and watered about half a gallon per pot, and completely nuked them. they were so dmg they had to be binned. So to clarify, your saying up the amount of nutrients, and give them less water, but more concentrated?
I transplanted these guys 2 weeks ago, very little growth. In ready to give up all together. This is becoming a waste of time and money at this point. I switched to dyna gro after all the good things I've read, but I'm having nothing but issues
600w mh
1 gal pot with ss adv #4 soilless peat...
Do you use that opportunity to use different mediums? or do you just stick to one? I use a soilless peat based mix now, but maybe if I were transplanting more often I could go with a veg/bloom soil mix.
I've never had problems in veg before. it was a pretty simple miscalc from getting a different nute brand. I was unaware that I shouldnt post this here. My bad.
Why start with plastic then move into fabric? just out of curiosity. easier to transplant out of plastic I would imagine.
honestly im ready to toss them because i think it would save me time int he long run. i've been trying to revive them for about 3 or 4 weeks now. wasted time. only 1 decent one in the bunch atm.
WPM and spider mites. Should I start with a 2 or 3 gallon pots and move up from there? And isn't it hard to repot a 2 or 3 gallon? I get nervous getting them out of solo cups.
They were slow to upload. Heres one. can take more if necessary. They look like absolute tiny pieces of trash. im just sick of paying for clones. I already had to bin my last crop RIGHT before harvest, and im getting sick of this crap.
These plants are at LEAST 6 weeks old, possibly older. I didn't record the date I got the clones, like i normally do. I switched nutrient brands and over fed the shit out of them. I've flushed them 3 or 4 times in the last few weeks, but only one looks like its even capable of recovering. should...
I agree with feeding the soil rather than plants. But disagree on the molasses. It is good to do a few times late in flower, but over doing it will affect taste in a very bitter way
I doubt it is from the dark. Those 5 degrees makes a big difference imo. I pulled much better weight from 75f than I did from 80f. Next time I would try keeping the 75f and maintaining 12/12. I doubt 2 hours per day makes a big difference in bill. I'm not big on math but that's what, 10%?
I hate to be negative nancy, but it seems like a very unsound idea to go from the golden standard of light to something that's new, higher upfront cost, and less reliable. Just my 2 cents. HID for life.
That is the question. I scrogged my last grow, and while it looked like it was doing a fairly decent job with the canopy I had a few issues with it. Most of those were my fault. But I never got to see how it would turn out due to pesky spider mites :(
Anyone here scrogging? Increase in yield?
